I said goodbye Indian Meal Moths with Doktor Doom!!aa
I am in the process of trying to clean up a NASTY and large Indian Meal Moth invasion. After clearing and cleaning every "base camp", we thought we were in the clear, but not so much. Turns out these things live FOREVER and they can be hard to kill, unless you want to chase them with a broom and leave brown streaks all over your walls, YUK! I started looking online, and wanted a natural solution. There are A LOT of pyrethrum products, but I finally settled on Doktor Doom Spider Mite Knockout. I knew it was more for garden pests than indoor issues, but I had to try something, ANYTHING! I received it 3 days ago and as soon as I opened it I went hunting. Let me tell you, if you have Indian Meal Moth issues, you will LOVE this stuff. It takes them out of the air, off walls, just about anywhere. Also, anywhere that I have sprayed it, as far as I can tell, no moths or any other bugs will land. The only con about this product is that it does not come with a holster. Other than that, it's all pros. Definitely recommended. Thanks for killing my bugs!!!! Here's to many more buggies biting it!! Cheers! DawnBee <3

Finally, something that works!
I'd been struggling with red spider mites on my meyer lemon tree for almost a year. I tried washing the tree with soap and water, showering the tree, showering the tree 2x a week followed by scrubbing it with soapy water for a month, rubbing alcohol, and probably some other (bad) ideas. Nothing worked. Since the tree was indoors and I have pets, plus thus far the tree been raised organic, I was very much hoping to avoid pesticides, but eventually, I relented. I applied this once, and all of the mites died immediately. It was a little hard to tell, as they stay on the tree exactly where they died, so you have to brush off their little corpses. Unfortunately, about 2 weeks later they came back. I opted for a more aggressive strategy. I sprayed the tree down, and 3-4 days later did it again, and 3-4 days after that, sprayed it one last time. I haven't had a single mite in over 2 months. I think they are finally gone! Plus, even if they come back, I still have most of the can left for more treatments. It's such a relief. The tree is healthy, and I don't have to spend time each day killing those awful mites. I'd recommend (for an indoor plant) covering the soil before you spray, as some of the spray might drip down and it's probably best to keep it away from the soil. It also got on my wood floor while I sprayed the tree, so make sure you have a mop ready to clean off the floor so it doesn't get tracked around the house. It didn't mark the floor, but I figure its bad for the pets if they get their faces or paws in it. Overall, great product, and I'm so happy I finally found something that worked!!!

Awesome product with a few things to look out for.
It's advertized for tomato plants and a few other things, but I researched it and this is supposed to work on pretty much any plant and I needed it for spider mites. I had spider mites on a Jasmine plant and they spread to a baby maple tree that I'm trying desperately to grow before our full grown maple tree dies (it's had some bad luck over the years). Well, I sprayed both plants outside and followed the directions on the can. 2 days later there was absolutely no movement on either plants. And after another 3 or 4 days I was surprised that my jasmine plant (which has many small leaves and stems) had been sprayed thoroughly enough to kill the whole infestation in one go. My maple tree, however, had a resurgence of mites after 5 days. They had begun to spin webs around all of the top leaves and had a few threads between the bottom few. So I waited another 2 days to spray it again because as directed you're supposed to wait 7 days between sprays. The day after I sprayed the second time the mites were all dead, but, to my horror, the leaves began to all turn brown starting at the edges. I assume that the mites may have done most of the damage, but I also suspect that the chemical spray may have had a hand. My maple tree is still alive with a few brand new leaves coming in at the top. It's also mite-free. But if you have a delicate plant (young, small, and/or with fragile leaves) and this plant has a spider-mite infestation, use this product very lightly and as early as you can before the major damage is done. My suspicions about it's plant-killing potential is why I gave it a 4/5 star.

Awesome product commitment is key
Hi After reading many reviews this is what you have to do I had them spread to each tent over a period of time I thought I was doomed but over a period of months I keep checking and I haven’t see them I always put it on when the lights go off It’s important it will burn leaves if you put it on 2 hours before the go off and I’m about talking LED too also a quick spray on the underside over lights and near your pots as well and don’t coat the leaves that will kill the leaves I have found this product works perfectly with nukem the 2 together will rid you of these pesky bugs Each application 3-4 days apart and do it for 1 month Mites are invinsible when you think there dead there not there secretly doing push-ups and slowly building there next invasion Trust me if you want these mites gone this will do but be commited that’s the only way it will work

Works alright, when you read the directions
With a name like this you would expect more. First off, this has a concentration of 0.20% pyrithium versus the foggers have 0.40% so you will basically have to use twice as much to get the same results versus the same brand's 3oz and 5oz foggers. This product is best used inside, as it will kill/harm ALL insects in some way or another. READ the instructions before using. Keep back the distance specified and you should not experience any leaf burn. Also only use this during lights out, obviously NOT when the lights are on, otherwise you will experience burning. You will have to spray 2 or 3 applications more than likely to get rid of all of the mites, over a period of a week, because the first kill off just kills the adults, then the eggs they laid will end up hatching 2-4 days later and you will then have to do another application before those bugs lay more eggs. If you don't do it quick enough you will have to do another application 2 days later. The label says spray once every 7 days, but doing this allows the population to build up since eggs hatch in as little as 2 days.

Fast extermination
Stuff works great. Smells but worth it. Be sure to use correctly and don't over apply. Only needs a misting few times over a week period then respray week later to be safe. Don't want it dripping off Definately spray from recommended distance too DON'T APPLY UNDER DIRECT LIGHT. This STUFF WORKS. I always keep some on hand. Knock them down fast and no problem spraying on plants then consuming. Just don't use few days before harvest

Didn't work on my indoor palm tree.
I had mites on my palm tree. I took it outside and sprayed the entire plant off with water hose to knock off most mites. Brought it back inside to completely dry off. Then took it back outside and used a half of can of this stuff making sure to completely cover the entire plant, under leaves and all. Brought back in and 2 days later I saw mites all over it again. I figured the stuff would eventually kill them. 2 weeks later still had mites. So I took it back outside and used the rest of the can all over the plant, had it on so heavy that it was dripping off the leaves. Directions said not to use that much, but I wanted to get rid of them once and for all. Over the next month my plant is looking like it is in bad condition. Looking at it now, it still has mites on it. Probably end up trashing the plant. Too bad because I really liked that plant. Paid twice as much for the spray than I did the plant, didn't do me any good.

Multi-Pronged Approach Recommended
I found a spider mite infestation late in flower. Many fan leaves showed characteristic spotting from bites and webs were just beginning to be visible on petioles & some leaf blades. I already had No Pest Strips (2 for a 12x6 area) which may have been slowing their progress all along, but there were definitely still living mites on the leaves. First, I pulled off almost all of the leaves that looked infested to reduce their numbers. I ordered and used: Doktor Doom Spider Mite Knockout (one application) Mighty Wash (one application) As of two weeks later I have not found a living mite or seen any mite-related damage. If I find more mites in the future I will likely use Mighty Wash as my first line of attack but keep all three products on hand. MW worked fine as directed with the lights OFF and I've found no mold whatsoever on my plants despite spraying during the flowering period.
