Love this sketchbook, makes such a difference to coloured pencil drawings as it holds layers well, great price for quality

Too quality as with all Strath more papers. Aimed squarely at the coloured pencil artist this is fantastic paper. Will take layer after later after layer of coloured pencil so you can get the right tones and gradients everytime. Perfect texture too.

I was really looking forward to getting my hands on this pad, enjoying working withcolour pencils like I do. For the most part, I was more than satisfied, the paper has a good tooth, yet feels smooth to the touch. It copes with a descent amount of layering and blending with oil based pencils and blending agents. But when I tried using my watercolour pencils, the problems began.... The paper rippled with very little water added and I found I was sat with my dryer going nearly all day and I getting more and more frustrated at having to wait... admitted it did dry flat, although blending when wet broke the paper surface with not good results. So all in all, mixed results with this pad... will I buy again? dunno still got a lot of pages to convince me one way or another

Good delivery timescale as we have come to expect with Amazon Prime. Delivery ppl are always courteous and polite. Product is good quality and exactly what i needed for the usage i had in mind. I would definitely recommend and would buy it again if needed 😍

I have bought several of these for use with Polychromos, Prismacolor, FB Black Edition and Caran Dache Pablo pencils, and on the whole its very good. Has plenty of tooth for layering/blending and a decent weight to it. I have noticed however, hat there is a certain amount of inconsistency across the page. There is, sometimes, random patches that behave differently to the rest of the page and give a different finish. It is very odd, almost like patches of glue here and there. I have tried many other types of paper and even with this oddity, Strathmore Coloured Pencil Paper is still the one I always go back to. However, I am still going to try and find an alternative but, until I do this remains my go-to....Actually, the Strathmore Bristol vellum is better, but it won't go through my printer reliably. I hope this is helpful to potential buyers.

This is the best paper I've bought. It's great for coloured pencil drawing. I can blend, rub out and it doesn't rub away the paper like other paper pads I have. I am delighted with it. I'm just teaching myself to draw but the difference is amazing.

I'm came back for more of this paper. BuT this time the pad was bent as it was packed on top of other small items. Shame as this is great paper. Anyway, if you have hard-core pencils, this is the perfect paper to compliment them👌🏽 👍 🥰 💞 let's just hope it's properly! 📦

Great paper. Slightly odd shape. Usually paper is A sized measurements but for drawing this hardly matters

Arrived in a perfect state and it was just as described. I used it with Prismacolor colored pencils as reviewers on Youtube recommended and I loved it. The colors blend really good. I haven’t tried any other paper though, but I’m very happy with it.

I like how the paper makes colouring with pencils easy to blend colours. I can really get a smooth colour gradient. It even takes a little water when using watercolour colouring pencils.
