I have been building a battery bank that required lots of cables of varying diameters that I then sleeved with braded loom and followed up by locking everything together using this heat shrink. The shrink rate of this stuff is kind of crazy, I've used it on wire as big as 4/0 awg all the way down to 4 awg and it happily adjusted its self to all of them. I dose require a fair bit of heat to get it fully shrank down and the glue inside melted but once that magic temp is reached it wastes no time about squeezing out some glue and sealing up the connection nice and tight. I honestly couldn't be more pleased about the results I've had using it. Highly recommend!

This is a very high-quality and great value. It works perfectly for Anderson power poles. They’re so happy. I stumbled on this any ham radio operator, or someone that uses Anderson power poles is gonna love this stuff.

Works well and shrinks down for Good for on 4/0 lugs

Pretty solid and durable, I would/will definitely purchase again. Acceptable price and value although I will update if it depreciates or degrades unreasonably. Fairly easy to work with, a heat gun is definitely recommended with a multi-temperature control, but a small adjustable hand torch using ambient heat, NOT direct flame, will also work. Careful overheating where cut or spliced, it will split/tear/rip up the side, vertically, up the length of the tubing, even if using a heat gun. Fairly flexible during application. Some corners are difficult to contour. After activated and shrunken to fitment, it will stiffen significantly, generally mold to the shape and/or angle. If reheated properly, it can be adjusted or reshaped depending on object and material being wrapped. The adhesive/glue is the interlining of entirety of the tube. There is not a separate layer under/after the glue, between the item wrapped; your item will be entrenched in adhesive/glue helpful for a good seal but can also damage your items sometimes it's better having that double layer an and adhesive filling where it just is pressed out the edges/ends of the tubing.

I love this stuff. I use it in crafts as an option to connect or tie into another aspect if the project. Projects that may involve tubes or pipe or those cardboard tubes. Because this stuff comes in all kinds of sizes. Plus let’s just say it gives me the reminiscent feels of playing with shrink-a-dinks as a kid. Oh and it does its job on wires and such too. Much nicer and cleaner look that gives me confidence that my repairs are safe.

I used this tubing to cap the ends of a home made flow rope. It’s a great price. I’m not sure what the average person is using this for but it works great for my needs! I could make a ton of individual flow ropes with the amount of tubing that this comes with.

Great tubing, was exactly what I needed. Used it as a new handle for my trailer. The glue has sealed the handle and should help reduce water penetration and rust. Great stuff, easy to apply!

I use a great deal of heat shrink tubing in my business, mostly double wall type such as this listed product. Most of my use is smaller sizes and I purchase in very large quantities from wholesalers. I needed a bit of 1" for some battery cable work on my truck and couldn't get small quantities where I normally buy, so I ordered this item from Amazon. This product is everything as they advertise. It is definitely double wall (inside adhesive), and a 3:1 shrink ratio. The product shrinks very uniformly with a heat gun has a uniform appearance. Being 1" it WILL take a longer time to absorb enough heat to shrink properly, so be patient. As with any heat shrink avoid open flame like a lighter or torch as the temperature is too high and not as uniform like hot air sources. Absolutely no issues with this product on performance or quality. I did read some of the negative reviews and can say I didn't experience any such issues as the complaints elude to. I would definitely buy this product again if similar needs arise and have no hesitation in recommending it.
