Great value for the money. This part is better crafted than the original GM part we were replacing. Has worked great since the install.

So it works great, and technically speaking, it was sort of an upgrade. The previous knob button had this frail little derpy spring holding it in. No wonder it died. This kit *does* come with another spring, but I wound up not needing it. The reason I mention this is because I had to dig around on YouTube to find tutorials, and found one where a guy reassured the viewers that you may or may not need the spring. (note: video wasn't product specific, but it was car make/model/year specific.) Anyways, now I don't have that derpy little spring holding a high-use part together. This is much sturdier, and once I realized I didn't need the spring, it took me maybe 10 minutes to install. Works great.

my son was having trouble every time parking in his car because the spring gave out on the old one. This one is just like the factory part and when we replaced it, it was just like new. It’s a fraction of the cost of the name brand part but functions just as great. We have had it for several weeks and it’s still operating as it should. it was easy to install and had the appearance of the factory part.

I recently bought a used 2014 Chevy Sonic. The day I bought it, I trouble getting the ignition to turn enough to get the key out. Happened again the next day when I went to pick up my tag. The dealer said the shifter button was sticking and sprayed some WD-40 in it and it worked fine for a few weeks. Happened again while visiting family. I see that this is a common problem with this vehicle and costs a few hundred dollars for the dealer to replace. Watched a couple of YouTube videos and it looked pretty easy. Bought this shifter button replacement and it works just fine. The spring seemed a little shorter and I had trouble getting the piece that goes around the side on, so I just used the old one. The long cover fit perfectly, which is good because I broke one of the clips getting it off. Very pleased with my purchase
