I've used this for everything from blending eggs for scrambled eggs, to crushing ice, to grinding coffee beans, to making tuna salad. This has replaced my food processor and old immersion blender whose motor died. The price was so much better than other name brands, and I was a little nervous because of that, but thought I'd give it a try, and I'm so happy I did. Highly recommend!!!

I love this thing -- and I'm not a big fan of specialty kitchen gadgets. I can't speak to durability since I've only done one task so far, but it was a substantial one. I made a massive batch of pesto, liquefying over 2 pounds of basil leaves and olive oil into mush. The blender attachment (the motor claims to deliver 1000 watts) was working to its limits but with patience and perseverance, I got an excellent result. With the blender blade frequently almost stalled in the decidedly non-liquid mass of leaves, I made sure to monitor the temperature of the power unit in my hand. When it got uncomfortably hot, I took an hour break for it to cool down before finishing the task. At the end, I had a perfect puree of basil and oil. For the next ingredient, I chopped 8 oz of pine nuts in the little enclosed food processor container with its own blade, using the same power unit. They were turned to near dust in about 10 seconds with no stray seeds shooting around the kitchen, ready to stir into the basil and oil. The kit also includes an uncovered drink pitcher and a whisk attachment, neither of which I've used yet Except for the power unit, naturally, everything is dishwasher safe. My only slight complaint is unavoidable. When blending something that doesn't flow, some inevitably gets packed above the blades against the shield. You can clean it out by rinsing but if you want to extract every last bit of goodness, it takes a couple of minutes with small utensils to coax the residue out into the open. You can spend a lot more on an immersion blender but I doubt you can get more for your money.

Super powerful! So much so I can’t use it in a pot unless I want it to throw what I need blending all over the kitchen (Experience). But it works fantastic chopper! I will have to get a less powerful one.

Strong with useful accessoriesUnfortunately, it burned out after a couple usesI was blending some garlic and spices and it started getting warm, so I unplugged it to let it cool downI checked on it maybe 15 minutes later and it was so hot to the touch, I couldn't hold it in my bare handNext day when it was completely cooled down, i plugged it in, hoping for the best. But no luck, it was dead. I bought this 7 months ago and have only used it a handful of times. I had a crappy hand blender that lasted years before it died. Really disappointed because it really was great when it worked.

It came exactly how it was pictured! It works very well for a cheaper-priced version. I was quite astonished as I didn't know what I was getting because of the low price. I love using it, and it is powerful. Considering the good brand costing around $300 for this set, I say it was a good buy!

The blender looks great. I just got it so haven't had the chance to use it properly. But, I did get a cracked chopper bowl which I'm not happy about. I'm sure it won't be an issue right now, but it will crack even more after few uses. I've tried to see the blending speed and it seems great.Overall, a 4/5 for the blender, and it might go even lower in near future.Update:I was given a replacement for the chopper, and everything is great now.Overall, the experience using the blender has been awesome, and would recommend to anyone under this budget. The customer service was very responsive, and provided me with a 5/5 service!

You can read down here my initial review, that was very bad. I gave one star bcs the blender stopped working after 4 months. Now I changed it to 5 stars because after a while I was not expecting anymore that the customer service will contact me and propose me not only to reimbourse but as well replace the whole damaged blender.. The lady’s name who contacted me is Sophia and she was above and beyond kind and helpful. Plus I did recived the replacement in just one day after my conversation with her. SIMPLY AWESOME, and I am very thankful.I was so happy with this blender, but now after 4 months it stopped working: even if not used often, suddenly yesterday it started to smell toxic like burned and making a strange loud noise. When I separated the blender part from the mixing part, there were plenty small plastic splinters falling of and the whole bottom area was black like melting. This happened literally just after few seconds it was on. I do not know what to do now, PLEASE someone answer me. It is not cool that I payed for something what lasted only 4 monts. I saw now, I am not the only one experiencing this issue.. :(
