The media could not be loaded. I’ve been wanting an outdoor griddle since having some amazing burgers at a friend’s house, and finally pulled the trigger. The deciding factors for me were the large cooking area and price.First impressions, well the weight of the cook surface was a pleasant surprise - very hefty and already had the beginnings of a good patina on it - I did season it a few times before the first use and the surface is quite nice now after a month of frequent cooking.The directions were easy to follow and reminded me of a lego kit - no confusing language or unclear directions, and went together with minimal tools required. I did it by myself in about half an hour. I was up and running in no time, and have so far prepared burgers, steaks, and grilled chicken galore.Veggies that would have been inconvenient or impossible on my old fashioned grill with the grates are now a possibility, such as diced onions and peppers. I bought an outrageously oversized steel flipper to go along with it and it's actually been very convenient. Highly recommended.Perfect for large parties as there are 3 different zones so you can do the hot stuff first and then move it over to the side to keep slowly warming as guests need seconds or come in waves. Personally I have a hard-plumbed gas line connected to it but it comes with the standard connection for a propane tank as well. My Weber is now permanently chilling in the shed and will probably remain there permanently.

Bought this for my husband in the spring. He says it's the best grill he's ever owned. He loves the griddle surface, and it's much easier to clean. That's good for me, because when he grills, I don't have to cook! BEST OF ALL, this company is amazing. My brother grilled steaks when he was visiting, and left the burners on and put the cover down when he was finished. The grilled buckled and was ruined, and the good people at Captiva arranged to send us a replacement griddle! Can't beat good customer service!

Arrived damaged. Otherwise it looks good, haven’t tried it out yet but I wish it wasn’t dented. It was also a PAIN to put together.Update*I tried fixing the dent the best i could and the grill works great. Honestly one of my favorite purchases. I was worried to buy one of these flat top grills because I’ve read some bad reviews about the black stone but I’m so happy with my purchase. The seller reached out and gave me a $50 refund for the damage and inconvenience. I recommend this grill!!!

Bought it for my new house and everything works well. I used to always use a charcoal grill before and this is the first time I use the gas one. It is so easy to use it. It doesn’t take a long time to prepare. Whenever you want to cook, it can heat up to the temperature less than 5 mins. The iron topper is thick and heats evenly so It can easily make the good food. After all, It can be taken down to clean it easily.It is very convenient to assemble. It must be very easy take it for my next camping!!!

It was a good product but the top warped .They don’t make a replacement top .and the side does get extremely hot

This grill is one of the best I have ever used for barbecue, one simple way to put it is that how easy it is to clean up after grilling, and it is the most annoying part after enjoying the food. Surprisingly, not only it was very straightforward to setup but also very easy to clean, I didn’t even have to use any soup to wash the surface, simply by scraping the cast iron on the top part and adding water to wash clean, the whole process took only less than 5 minutes. Happy with this and looking forward to use it again next weekend.

Pictures show you get the grate and flat top, you only get the flat.The top is completely warped and doesn’t sit flat after one use. I’ve sent email but haven’t received a response yet.Other than that it seems to be a solid product and cooks great!The side tables get EXTREMELY HOT!!! I had a paper plate sitting on one side and it started burning.

Today I wheeled the 3 burner griddle out to the street. Looks Nice, but completely useless as a tool for outdoor cooking. Cast iron griddle warped bad due to extreme heat! Even on low or indirect cooking this unit was burning hot. Thankfully it was cheaper than the other more famous “Briddle” on the market. Because of this junk I am going to never buy ANY other “Briddle” as well. I give it 2 stars because it “Looks Nice”. Otherwise it is junk. UPDATE: I want to edit my review due to the actions of the sellers after my original post. Phi Villa customer support contacted me and went out of their way to make me happy by not only offering a replacement, but offering any other ptoduct they carry. I was really not wanting anything such as this but eventually decided to accept their offer and received a replacement. I did change the recomended seasoning temp from high to low as the high burner temp will melt the plastic leg inserts. Also, using an infrared thermometer, I found that on theLow setting the temperature of the griddle above the burners was still clocking in over 500 deg. F. The only way to use this is indirect cooking. I will continue to play with this method and recomend avacado oil only due to high smoke point. I give customer service 5 stars. I increased my rating to 3 stars because I still think the low burner settings are too hot. It would be nice to be able to decrease orifice size and derate the burner outputs some. I have agreed, with myself, to not wheel this one out to the street. Good luck ya’ll
