Skandika SF-1140 Regatta Pro 5 Neptune Rowing Machine - Multi-Colour, 130 x 55 x 95 cm

Before I bought the Skandika Regatta Pro 5 Neptune SF-1140 rowing machine, I researched the market thoroughly because I wanted my own rowing machine rather than using the Concept 2 rowing machines that I was using in the local gym. I thought of getting a Concept 2 but the cost of a new one was well over £1,000 and used ones in decent condition were going for over £500. So I looked at all the other machines in the markets, carefully reading the reviews and studying the mechanical features. Nothing impressed me as there were poor reviews on most of the machines. Then I found this machine listed on the last page of Amazon. No reviews, but it was the right type of machine mechanically and cheap as chips at a shade over £200. I ordered it and, using Amazon Prime it was delivered the next day. It took about 30 minutes to set up and I was surprised at how well made it seemed to be. When I first tried it I could not believe how good it was - it felt as good as the Concept 2. Over the past few months I have used this brilliant machine every day, building up the number of strokes and tension. I love it and recommend it whole heartedly.

Got the rowing machine,built it no problem but the computer just doesnt register wen pulling on the rowing machine,instructions in german so cant understand,no one to phone or help me so looks like im stuck with a rowing machine where the computer doesnt work or i just cant figure out how to set up,not happy at all,

Seems well made. Easy to put together. Would not recommend for people much taller than 5ft 8. If you want a short medium work out it is fine. I would say for what you get it is good value for money( no doubt others will disagree)

My teenage lad loves this and I even get to have a go. It provides enough resistance to make a good workout. Would have liked a distance counter but the stroke count is good enough. Footprint is great as it doesn't take up too much room and yet it feels sturdy and of good build quality (hope that is still the case in 6 months time). Not a rower so really using this for a bit of fitness so can't comment on whether it helps with rowing technique or not. Very pleased.

Very good rowing machine although I found it a bit cramped and the maximum resistance level to be to easy for me. Other than that it does a good job of warming me up before I go for a run

Very good quality and easy to build even though the instructions are in German. It took about 20 minutes to build. Not possible to make a bags up of it lol

Have now used this item daily since delivery and I have had no problems whatsoever, in fact it runs smoothly and certainly does the job that it is intended for. It is not for the professional rowers but for me it is great - and I feel great.

Dieses Rudergerät ist für meinen Zweck optimal. Ich nutze es jetzt seit ca. 5 Wochen und bin total davon überzeugt. Der Aufbau war unter 30 Minuten schnell und einfach erledigt, da schon Einiges vormontiert ist. Das Rudern funktioniert ganz einfach mit den Einstellungen, die Bedienung ist einfach und man spürt, wie fast der gesamte Körper beansprucht wird. Mit der entsprechenden Musik macht es noch mehr Spaß. Ich werde es auf jeden Fall weiter machen und nicht in die Ecke stellen, wie es schon so mit manchen Geräten passiert ist.

Al prezzo che l'ho preso 229,00 è veramente un ottimo prodotto. Si presenta robusto e resistente con la buona saldatura di elementi. La tubatura è forte. Il movimento del carrello- sedile è fluido e il rumore al minimo. Fantastiche sono le istruzioni che separano tutte le vite e i bulloni, comprese le chiavi con evidenti numeri e passo dopo passo risulta facilissimo montarlo. Basta seguire i numeri e i disegni, si perchè le istruzioni sono in tedesco o olandese. il display facilmente intuibile mentre si fa esercizio indica le vogate, il tempo, le calorie perse(le conta secondo le vogate) e le pulsazioni ma per avere il conteggio di quest'ultime bisognerà comprare un altro accessorio a parte. si richiude occupando pochissimo spazio. il sedile è morbido. L'unico difetto che rimane troppo basso l'ingresso della fascia per chi è alto. Fornito con doppie maniglie per fare ulteriori esercizi. FINALE: ottimo prodotto al prezzo in offerta di 230,00 Raccomandato per un allenamento personale in casa.

Habe mir das Gerät am 7. Juni 2014 gekauft. Sitz und Lager: Die Rollen auf denen der Rudersitz bewegt wird sind für mich persönlich das auffallendste Manko an dem Gerät. Ich frage mich, wie wenig Qualitätsanspruch ein Hersteller haben kann, das Teil welches den sich ständig wiederholenden starken Kräften ausgesetzt ist derart billig zu konzipieren. (siehe Fotos) Nach knapp einem Jahr mäßigem Gebrauches (etwa 40x30 Minuten, jeweils 1200 Züge) läuft der Sitz derartig unrund, dass es einem vorkommt als würde man mit einem ungefederten Fahrrad über derbes Kopfsteinplaster ruckeln. Wenn sich die Hohlplastikräder dann auch noch derart verkeilen, dass die Rollbewegung abrupt stoppt, sitzt man auch gerne mal neben dem Gerät. Ich wiege ca 90 Kilo bei einer Größe von 185, das scheint für die Rollen bereits zuviel zu sein. Computer: Ob die Faussung des Computers nun schön gemacht ist oder nicht, sei es drum. Mir ist die Funktion wichtig, doch diese ist ebenfalls nicht gegeben, da der Computer in der Funktion "Scan" selbständig Totalresets ausführt, so dass man nach 10 Minuten Rudern, wieder bei Null anfängt. Ich habe es mir dadurch zur Gewohnheit gemacht einen Countdown auf meinem Handy laufen zu lassen. Die Batterien habe ich nach dem ersten Auftreten gewechselt und die sichtbaren Kontakte geprüft, keinen Fehler gefunden. Rollen des Zugbandes: Auch hier ist keine Qualitätsanmutung zu spüren. Die Fassung in der die Rollen gelagert sind, bewegt sich mit der Bewegung des Zugbandes. Was ich an dem Gerät gut finde, ist das es kompakt ist und sich gut "verstecken" lässt.
