Actually fitted pretty well. Can't comment on the longevity as I sold the the shifters as I had no bike to fit them to.

Les housses de protection étaient tellement usées que le caoutchouc se désagrégeait. Les cocottes trouvées correspondaient exactement au modèle original et se sont parfaitement adaptées aux manettes de freins Shimano.

It's hard to find genuine ST-6870 hoods, so you will be pleased to know that these may fit better than the originals. I only get about 2 years on a set of hoods, so we will see how long these last. Pro tip: use hand sanitizer on the insides of the hoods and they will pull right over the shifter. The sanitizer will evaporate and you are set to go.
