iFixit Heavy Duty Suction Cups (set of 2)

Wow, these things suck (no pun(s) intended). I was lifting just the LCD part of a screen, and I mean just the sheet of liquid crystal without the rest of the screen components (filters, diffusers etc ..). It's on a 49" 4K expensive TV, so dropping it was not an option. I popped these one at each end (about 8" from the left and right sides) and then squeezed the gripper handles about 1/4 of the way. Already they had a firm grip on the screen. I lifted it to another work area and then placed it down. Took me longer figuring out how to get the grippers off the screen! Basically, you twist then anti-clockwise with a bit of force, and they just release! The TV is now fixed and working (needed new backlights as the old ones had turned blue!). It would have cost hundreds to get it fixed, but for the price of these suckers and the lights (30 quid) I now have a fully working TV! Great stuff, buy some! Rob :)

I have some troublesome windows which just don't want to close properly near the hinges and leaves a breezy, cold gap. Bought these to pull the window pane (near the lower hinge) towards me whilst also pulling on the handle to close it. Works like a charm! They may be small but the suction is brilliant. I did wonder whether poor suction would result in me flying backwards across the room when I first used one, but not a chance! Even when I release the vacuum lever, I have to get my finger nails around the sucker to get it off the window. Well worth the purchase and gives me a bit more time to save in order to get the windows properly fixed!

Decent product, used to remove flat screen tv, screens. These are the ideal tool right size, right amount of suction to. There not built to last forever but as long as there not abused should be serviceable for years.

Perfect for removing the kickboards in the kitchen.

It works fine. I used it to remove a wheel center cap so it is a bit more difficult than to lifting glass. It took me about 10 attempts but finally it worked. I have not much experience on other brands but I think this is a good one.

Good suction cups, used them to remove an lcd screen from a 55 inch samsung tv whilst I repaired the back lights. They work very well. If you are doing similar job don't be alarmed when you switch screen back on and there are two round marks with colour bleed on lcd where the suckers have been. They will disappear after a few hours. Maybe they are too strong? Anyway I am happy and they have had good use since I got them.

OK but nothing special

We found ourselves with an uninvited guest in the house and, after much detective work, we found that it was coming from behind the plinths in the kitchen. These came in great use as I was able to take the plinths off and seal the gap in the wall that our mouse friend was using to enter the house. Found them sturdy and with sufficient grip. At times I did have to try a few times to get appropriate grip but it may just be due to painted surface. Either way very satisfied with the purchase.

Eh, per aprire un iMac non c'è scelta: o lo fai con gli strumenti giusti o non fai nulla. Queste ventose sono piccine, ma forti e soprattutto pratiche. Quindi sono molto soddisfato.

Pour moi qui bosse dans la maintenance informatique, c'est indispensable ! Produit de bonne qualité, je le précise car c'est important ! On n'est clairement pas déçu de la qualité !!!

These are great little suctions cups. Used these to refurb a 24'' LED Apple Cinema Display and they work really well in suctioning to the glass surface of the monitor and giving me a good, yet confident, grip to assist in removing the glass panel. All in all, a great buy. The product is made of plastic but is still of superb quality, I find. All in all the product justify the price. A good pair of suction cups that has great utility, decent to good quality and seems to be able to last a decent amount of time.
