Hi. i have about 40 betamax video tapes . will this item play them. or can i get my betamax player restored to its picture perfect condition. thanks .

I know nothing about Betamax. All I know about this product is it allows small VHS-C camcorder cassettes to be inserted into a normal sized cassette adaptor so it can be played in a full format VHS recorder. 6mm tapes only.

does it ok with jvc c-p7u cp6bku c-p6u,panasonic pv-p1,rca vca115 ?

I dont know but This cassette adapter only works with video-c tapes in any vhs video recorders i hope this a little help to you

I have just received my vhs adapter and can't seem to get my tapes to fit in

Dermot..This unit will only take VHS-C/VHS Tapes.Is the battery in place and working? If so then slide the on button, (bottom left) to the right.The unit lid should now open.Ensure that cassette tape is wound back and not at the finished end and place it into the unit with the cassette window on the left.Close the lid by hand and the tape should thread on to the unit automatically. If it does not then the unit may be faulty.However, if the cassette will not fit in then either you have the tape the wrong way around or this is the wrong unit for your cassettes.I have had no problems with my unit.
