I had seen many positive reviews on this knife. I noticed it was on sale for Prime Day. So, I grabbed it for $40. Now I see that they are offering a 20% discount, making the black G-10 version (like what I bought) the same price. So, in some respects, the 'thrill is gone' on the deal. LOL. Now, about the actual knife. I am a Ganzo fan, and I own a few of their knives. For what you get for the money, Ganzo is tough to beat. But, I was interested in trying a more premium button lock knife. I tried a Sencut, but it was defective. I have been impressed with how lightweight the Pyrite seems to be. The action is really nice. The fact that I can hold the knife and shake it and the blade comes out...that gives me pause. Maybe I will get used to it? Overall, I like the Pyrite. A nice, deep carry clip. Cool blade shape, decent steel. G-10 scales feel fine. Fit and finish...no worries. It's a lot of fun to play with, and I'm going to carry and use it for a bit. I think this is a pretty safe option if you want to check out a good quality button lock knife.

A great little EDC knife. I like the two way opening with thumb studs or button lock. Can be set up for left hand use.

Excellent small folding knife. The engineering tolerances are extremely tight and the quality of the knife is immediately obvious. Great, lightweight knife that comes extremely sharp out of the box.

knife is decent, pretty light, slim, etc. honestly pretty close to my ideal pocket knife. The locking mechanism is too unreliable. this has a tendency to open itself in my pocket and stab me. that's bad! I've all but stopped using this due to that design issue. I think it's possible to be pretty happy with one of these, but I can't trust it to be safe when I put my hand in my pocket.

I am very impressed by this knife (I got the one with the G10 handle). It is pretty cheep for what you are getting. It comes practically razor-sharp (though I have yet to see how long it lasts until it goes dull). The knife opens very smoothly, but locks in place both when closed and when open (it does not open on its own and stays closed). Before receiving the knife, I had misgivings on the button lock. But it is actually a great mechanism and works very well. Overall, I am surprised at the quality of this knife compared to the price.
