I was blown away, I am halfway through book 1 in just a few hours, its such an engrossing story and the premise in Europe is very refressing (Though many of the 'Europeans' seem to look the same in some scenes with big noses ha ha) I actually want to source the anime now but cant find it anywhere. I first tried Claymore, Death Note and Dragon Ball which I have watched so knew what to expect. I heard about this one being the best manga for many people so I was ineterested in taking the plunge and trying a manga I have never watched before. I was blown away, I am halfway through book 1 in just a few hours, its such an engrossing story and the premise in Europe is very refressing (Though many of the 'Europeans' seem to look the same in some scenes with big noses ha ha) I actually want to source the anime now but cant find it anywhere.

amazing manga
another amazing volume from the series monster. picked up volume 1 and thought to myself how good of a story it is, so then i got the next 2 volumes. the story line is amazing and i have read nothing like this before. might be my favorite manga series yet!! great buy!

The struggle continues
Continues telling the struggle of Dr Tenma and his on going attempts to clear his name. More elements and sinister forces being to come to light in this book. The pace is fast and relentless, I couldn't help but read the whole book in one sitting. As with the first book the panels are beautiful and detailed giving the story an even deeper atmosphere. The print in fine quality as is the paper. Will certainly be purchasing the third.

Be warned, you will be hooked!
Naoki Urasawa is a genius. His series Monster is truly gripping. Its a psychological thriller that is 100x better than any hollywood movie I've ever watched. If you're looking for a ride, then get yourself a copy of Monster.

Everything was great but there was a manufacturing error
Everything was fine until I started reading it, there was a loose page half way through the book. Eventually by the end of the book I’ve had 4 pages loose, I’ve read a good few mangas now and this is the first time seeing a page being fully loose. Other than that the book was delivered fast, packaged well so no damages but just some sort of manufacturing error with the glue I think. I wouldn’t blame it on the seller. Hopefully over time more pages don’t fall out.

PErfect Volume 2
Keep the story moving, Tenma arrives to the orphanage where Johan grew, he meet Dieter, he is still looking for Johan. We see Nina also look for Johan. A group of neo-nazi want to make Johan their leader, preparing a fire, both Nina and Tenma get involved while looking for Johan, but Johan is above all those racial stupidities, leaves message for Nina and Tenma. Also a bit of look around the KBA agent and Tenma’s ex-girlfriend, wow she really is going down into a revenge obsession path. We start to see the past of Johan, and although we never do see him, the messages start to paint what really is going with him. Great story telling, and amazing art-drawings. Also the 3-in-1 edition is fabulous, looks really professional, collection style.
