This cable doesn't have any electronics. TX-500 requires 10uf decoupling capacitors when connecting to the audio lines. Most of the sound cards have them but it is your responsibility to confirm that. Review: Works as you would expect, no issues. Note: This is a stand alone cable, NOT for use with a digirig device. Hooks directly from the TX500 to a (older) laptop or PC with separate mic & headphone jacks.
