Disappointed with Havells BLDC Fans – Frequent PCB Failures & Poor Support
I had high expectations from Havells when I purchased 4 of their BLDC ceiling fans, including the premium Stealth model, expecting energy efficiency and long-term reliability. Unfortunately, my experience has been quite the opposite. All the fans started facing PCB failures just after a year of use. Thankfully, I had the warranty and AMC in place, but even then, the after-sales service has been frustrating. Each time, I had to wait 15–20 days for PCB replacements due to lack of stock and high volume of complaints, as admitted by the technician himself. For a brand like Havells, this level of product durability and support is extremely disappointing. A ceiling fan should not become unusable every few months, especially at this price point. Pros: • Good design and silent operation (when it works) • Energy-efficient Cons: • PCB failures in all units • Very slow service turnaround • Poor component reliability Unless Havells addresses the quality issues and improves service timelines, I cannot recommend their BLDC fans.
