Auraglow PIR Motion Sensor Stainless Steel Up & Down Outdoor Wall Security Light - Cool White

This light is well made and provides excellent illumination with a good bright light level flooding the area of our front door. Although the instructions leaflet that accompanies the product are not that explicit regarding the sensor controls, a little experimentation soon pays off. A stylish, well constructed product at a good price.

I am delighted with these lights. They replaced older, lantern style lights and have modernised the front of the house massively. The PIR sensor range is absolutely perfect to pick up the car when entering the drive way (one of my requirements). As a tip when installing, make sure you locate the wiring plug onto the four pegs on the back of the unit. It makes closing and sealing the front face of the light much easier. Though it is quite tight. I also replaced the screws and nuts with quality stainless steel items.

I bought two of these, one of them was distorted and angled toward the base, damaged in transit, I was able to manipulate it back into place though and only a slight dent was evident, the next little issue was the lid of the eye wouldn't clip up and kept falling down, I needed to move the sensor from behind the fitting as its held in place by two little screws and a retaining bar, it was okay after that, again maybe moved in transit. The plastic mounting plate is a little brittle and shattered around the screw as I drove the screw home, a washer sorted it and more gentle pressure. when up they were easy to sort out but best to do it when dark, pleased with the overall look of the things, nice and bright and they work perfectly now, the light housing is nice and thick and feels quite heavy but the mounting plate cover is not as strong so be careful fitting the two nuts or they will bend the front plate.

Nice light really pleased with it . But help please anyone , it comes on in daylight

Easy to fit, works well and looks great

Upon opening the outer packaging it looked like the box that contained the light had already been opened before. However, the light itself looked ok. The wiring inside the light dosen't match european colours or old english colours and the back plate is very flimsy plastic. Once installed the light came on but wouldn't go out despite several attempts to rectify.

Light is exactly what we were after, it's so efficient it even comes on in the day time to make sure we don't fall down the steps leading to our garage.... Easy to install, easy adjustment of all setting except the day light sensitivity which I have never been able to get to work correctly.

Have several of these PIR lights outside but have had to replace two of them. The weak point is the PIR sensor which I have broken when cleaning. The plastic cover is extremely fragile & seems to becomes even more brittle after a couple of years. So after searching for replacements I noticed that the newer ones have a "half" cover which offers some protection to the sensor. The adjustments for duration, distance and daylight sensitivity are handily placed underneath the cover so a small screwdriver can be used to make the adjustments easily & once down the "half" cover flips over the hide the screwdriver slots and protect the sensor. Over the years have noticed that these stainless steel lights may rust so I spray and wipe with a little oil a couple of times a years which seems to reduce this. The light itself is responsive and gives a good light on the house wall. A bit fiddly to install particularly the last 2 bolts which could do with being slightly longer.

Escogí este modelo porque incluía las luces de leds. Lo mejor, las lámparas de leds, que hacen bastante luz, y el cilindro donde se alojan. La base tiene una apariencia peor, aunque es sólo estética, la funcionalidad es correcta. El detector de presencia es algo peor, en cuanto a aspecto y funcionalidad. Alguna vez se ha bloqueado, pero lleva meses funcionando y en general va bien.

Ottimo prodotto design curato materiali resistenti e di qualità... lampadine incluse sensore crepuscolare e di movimento piú che funzionante... niente da dire ottimo da classe ad un ingresso moscio...
