Great to Use, Great Quality, Very Convenient
I love the quality of Bahco products and this hacksaw did not disappoint. Comfortable grip, much better than bare metal. Easy to use and does what is required. Good range of blades available for different purposes. Good compact design. Very convenient for when a larger hacksaw does not have space. Or for cutting smaller items.

Just quality!
It's hard to get excited about a junior hacksaw, however I used it for the first time the other day and have to say it knocks spots off those cheap one's. A good secure grip and a nice tight held blade. Worth every penny!

Easy to hold even for my damaged hands
I needed a lightweight saw, that was effective but easy for me to hold (i have damaged hands). This ticks the boxes and I'm really pleased with it. I am no technical genius so bear with the lack of 'correct' terminology! This saw reminds me of the ones used in schools. Easy to grip and manoeuvre, and straightforward to change the blade. However this is much better quality and the blades are in a different league. I've been using it to steadily cut through very thick ivy, hoping to kill it from the bottom. I've cut through some really tough stems easily including some at awkward angles. So far I'm very pleased with this saw. Happy to recommend. Thanks for reading, I hope you find this review helpful.

So much better than the old-fashioned bent-wire versions
So... you could argue that this junior hacksaw is nearly twice the price of the old-fashioned ten-a-penny bent wire ones... but it's all a case of perspective and true value!!! (I haven't been incentivised to review this by the way!) The truth is that this saw is only £2 or £3 more than the crappy ones and it a million times better. Firstly, the handle is actually comfortable to hold and keeps your hand in the right orientation to get neat cuts. Secondly, the stronger frame keeps the tension on the blade (which can be adjusted by the thumbwheel) so you don't get the blade popping out or blade wandering through the workpiece. Thirdly, the blade it comes with seems much better than your run-of-the-mill variety. It's tough, durable, well designed and well worth the extra couple of quid! Don't waste your time or money with the others!

Excellent for a metal curtain track.
Very good for metal. I had to trim a metal curtain track, this went through it really well and left a surprisingly smooth edge. I've never sawed anything metal before so I was pleased how easy it was with this!

Sharp
Decent blades without too much flex - bought to replace a basic cheap one as I got feb up with struggling to get the blade in and out - much easier on this one - worth buying

Really bloody good Junior Hacksaw
I work as an industrial electrician and as such, I've used it most days I nrhe few weeks I've owned it. This hacksaw is bang on what I wanted and it works great. I cut and terminate SWA cables with it all day and it's great! The blade tension helps me keep a straight line and the handle is designed in such a way I can cut the top, front, back and under the cable when I'm unable to turn the cable, because the handle is grippable from so many angles. You can choke up on the top of it and it still feels good or grip it lower down and get more angle over the back side of a cable. If this one ever breaks I'm buying another.

Very sturdy and well designed, high quality tool. Great price as well. As I suspected, the blade length is 12", not 15" as the description said.

This is my second Bahco tool I've purchased, ironically, the second hacksaw. I'm a fan. The quality is great, and the pricing is reasonable for such a quality tool. Highly recommended.
