Top class pans
I have an induction job and it’s been a bit of a pain having to find specific pans that work on that hob type, particularly as they always seem to be more expensive. We’ve tried stainless steel and the new “stone” type pans which are all horrible. We’ve had a tefal frying pan for years so I finally got fed up of trying to find a bargain set and swallowed the cost of these pans. I was expecting a good pan for the price they charge and I also loved the easy stacking idea. So far we have not been disappointed. Had them a month or so and they are head and shoulders over the last set we had which we returned to Amazon due to the poor performance. I think this is a case of getting what you pay for. The pans are all good sizes. The non stick is exceptional. I have followed the guidance from tefal and “prime” the pans with a light oiling once a month, but that effort is well worth it in the ease of cleaning. The food residue just falls off. The stacking is such a space saver and the removable handles are very secure and simple to attach or remove. The lids also don’t have those annoying handles that seem to collect water and scum in them which is another plus. The handles on the lids cleverly fold flat which adds to the storability. So far so good. I will update this review if anything changes but after 5 or 6 weeks these are performing perfectly. Couldn’t say the same for the Tower Cerastone ones we had to return after a few months.

Great set for a small kitchen with limited storage.
Such a great idea! Making the handle removable means you can fit so may pans into such a small space! These ones have a really robust teflon coating as well, so in addition to being truly non stick (even when dry-frying an egg, a test I've had many a cheaper 'non-stick' pan fail in the past), you can also use metal utensils for stirring and serving up. No knives though. That would just be silly. The handles are very solid, and clunk reassuringly into place when you lock it on. They can slide around the edge of the pan, but are totally secure for lifting even when the contents of the pan are quite heavy. They are also super easy to remove so you can swap the handle between pans or store them away. the lids are also stackable, as the handles fold flat when you place the lids one on top of the other, thus saving yet more space. The plastic lids are a good idea as well, but I must admit I have never used them for their intended purpose as yet. I tend to put things in containers before I put them in the fridge, but they are all a good fit so they would stop odors from drifting around and flavouring everything in the fridge I guess. A point to note; The largest of the lids included in this set is 26cm. If you want a lid for the frying pan, you will have to order it separately. I also find that these pans have definite 'hot spots'. The area in the middle is considerably hotter than the bits around the edge, but I don't know if this is due to the pan itself or the hob. I had the non-induction set of these pans before when I had a gas hob, and didn't have this issue then. I think it's more likely to be caused by my hob than by the pans themselves, but check other reviews to see if the same problem has occurred for other buyers. I think these pans are great both in terms of use and ease of storage. I like them so much I've bought them twice in both the induction and non-induction versions. I love the smart design, and would recommend them to anyone.

I am in love with this set
After contacting T-FAL USA & learning there were no plans to sell the Ingenio product line in the US, I took to the Internet. After all, we don't all live in McMansions here...anyway, Amazon UK came to the rescue! I am in love with this set! The quality is very high & it fits in my tiny kitchen cabinet with room to spare. I purchased this set specifically to work with the induction range I am purchasing as well. Will update my review then, but for now, these pots & pans are performing wonders on my very decrepit gas range. They distribute heat very well & clean up is a breeze. No strange smells have emitted from them while cooking & they came through my dishwasher sparkling harder than a badly-written, teenage vampire's backside. I've been re-training myself to remove the handles as much as possible while cooking; it's feels a little odd, but I've been finding I actually don't use the handle as much as I thought I would. They do have some heft, which keeps them stable on the range, but aren't so heavy as to be unwieldy. I do wish the lids were oven-safe, but I don't mind using a bit of foil instead. All in all, this is an excellent set & I will definitely be ordering some complimentary items from the same line in the near future!

Brilliant, but not dishwasher safe!
I’ve had these pans for almost a year and have absolutely loved them. They are so easy to store and they heat up extremely quickly on my induction hob. Unfortunately a few months ago the induction base came away from the 20cm saucepan. This happened while I was using it on the hob, but thankfully didn’t damage the hob. Despite the pans only being 9 months old, I had to contact Tefal directly. The issue was then passed onto their technical team at Novo - who don’t seem very keen on communication! After no contact, I was suddenly emailed a free royal mail return label saying to return at my convenience and a questionnaire asking about how they were used, stored and cleaned. During the time between calling Tefal and Novo finally getting in contact, the 16cm saucepan had suffered the same fate. I finally found a cardboard box big enough (thanks Amazon delivery!) and sent them both off. Three weeks passed and I hadn’t heard anything, so contacted them only to be told “they have arrived and are being inspected at the moment”. Another week passed and I had a surprise delivery - it was a set of 3 new pans from Tefal. There was no note enclosed explaining the situation, but based on the prior lack of communication, I just thought this is what they do! Then a week later, I received an email with a letter attached. The letter stated that they have replaced my pans as an act of goodwill as I have damaged them by putting them in the dishwasher with a caustic tablet (Fairy platinum all in one). They state that I should hand wash the pans and if I did insist on putting them in the dishwasher, then to use a less caustic detergent such as Finish Gel. I have reviewed the instruction manual and it does state this (not very clearly) but I was led by the picture on the box which clearly says Dishwasher safe. Well done if you have got this far in my life story with these pans! I still love these pans and would recommend them to anyone else, but from now on I will be washing them by hand.

Awesome Pots and Pans
Cannot say enough about how much we love these stackable Tefal induction pots and pans. The clip on, clip off handles are absolutely brilliant and perfect for tight kitchens. We've had no issue clipping the handles on and off, and have tossed the handles and pots in the dishwasher a hundred times without a problem. The handles quickly snap on to any section of the top of the pans, and locks in securely as if the handles were built onto the pans. When it's time for storage, everything stacks up in a small tower that would fit in even the tightest of kitchen. The non-stick surface has scratched a bit after a year of use, but we've noticed no impact on cooking or flakes of enamel in food. The pots work very well on induction stoves, heat quickly, cool quickly, and cook evenly. We've not had issues with anything sticking to the pans or discoloring, as all residue washes off easily with soap and water. Highly, highly recommend.

Non stick does not last
After about 2 weeks of use the non stick in the large frying pan (my most used one) seemed to turn a slightly different colour and things started sticking. Never used metal utensils in the pan and was not heated without having anything in it. I created a case with Tefal who have not even bothered to reply to my case. Don't even bother trying to call them. Terrible customer service and wish i'd never brought them. They are a great idea though and the handles are quite sturdy! ***update, after emailing tefal twice and not receiving a response for 6 weeks I called amazon and they resolved it and offered a full refund. Amazon customer service saves the day! Tefal is rubbish, they don’t even reply to emails.

Fantastic Kit
Fantastic kit! I have used Tefal for several years now and they don't cease to impress me! I have read all types of reviews about this series from Tefal, but I found no issues whatsoever with this product. I cook everyday and roast beef on the frying pan, straight in the oven with these. On average I use these pans for 1 meal per weekday and 2 meals per weekend day. I cook for 3 to 6 people weekly and haven't found a single flaw to complaint about. As long as we follow the right guidelines, avoid scouring the pans, using the handles while the pans are in the stove and so on as advised on their manual, the product behaving brilliantly! 3 months on and they still look good as new! The only important tip I can really offer is to buy the polyester pan protecting pads for storing the pans without having them touching each other. That makes all the difference! We bought a set on amazon, they only cost a fiver anyways.

Brilliantly set of cookware.
These are a Xmas gift. We have has the same set for over 2 years. They are brilliant to use very easy to clean and great on an induction hob. They are only marginally slower to heat up than stainless steel pans etc. after 2 years they are unmarked- very sturdy and take up very little room when stacked. Just use soft separators between the pans when stacking In a cupboard.
