Secret Agent Jack Stalwart: Book 12: The Fight for the Frozen Land: The Arctic

Perfect book for a boy of 10-years. Who had already read one book out of sequence and wanted to read the rest, perfect for grandparents needing to by presents. Interest was also helped by the fact that the book also had a web site for fun. Books were taking about 2 weeks each .(Bed time only)

My daughter finds the Jack Stalwart books exciting and enjoyable. An easy read - good for bedtime reading or holidays. She says that the fact that each book takes place in a different country makes them even more interesting. Highly recommendable for boys & girls (tomboys) of the 10+/- age group.

He picked them up and read until he hit the back cover. Made me really happy as the stories are nicely written and these are the first books that inspired him to read on his own for pure personal pleasure.

Great stories I've got half the set for my lad

We found the series of "Secret Agent Jack Stalwart" from Amazon because many parents recommended it. I bought one for my 6-year-old whose English is his second language and he loved it! I tried to buy from local bookstore in Taipei but we completed the whole series from Amazon. The tools that Jack uses every time and countries he goes in every book really fascinate my son! He can non-stop reading the book and finish it in an hour then read it again and again. In the last book, Jack finally found his brother Max, it is of course a happy ending. We're glad that the commends from other parents are true, and we're happy to say it as well. Get the complete selection!

Great series of chapter books for kids to read. This series is very good at keeping children interested and wanting more.

My oldest son, 6 years old, loves the adventures of young Jack Stalwart! We have read 7 of the 14 book series, and we will probably finish the next 7 in less than a month. I'm stalling a little because I think he might be sad when we finish the series, but then I can teach him a lesson about variety and that there are other good books out there. Plus, explaining to a 6yr old that the great thing about books is that you can always come back to them, and read them as often as you want. This series is the first set of books that he's ever looked forward to! I highly recommend the Jack Stalwart book series by Elizabeth Singer Hunt.

My 9 year old loves these books, so much that he emailed the author and asked for more in the series. She even wrote him back, and told him about her current project. My son likes secret agent/ undercover characters who travel to different countries. This series was perfect for him!

My son is in first grade and has recently fallen in love with the Jack Stalwart books. These books have a super hero agent with lots of cool gadgets. He travels all over the globe. The stories are full of true, geographical information the reader about the areas that Jack travels to. We have started marking the places on our wall map and writing notes about the special things that happen there. These are great books!!!
