Origami Dinosaurs for Beginners (Dover Origami Papercraft)

Still a little difficult to follow for complete beginners but is there such a thing as an easy to follow origami book?

Great present for a eight year old

Lots of projects but I wouldn't consider it a Beginners book. I struggled with my grandson who lost interest. Good for those with a little more experience.

As a complete newbie to origami I found some of the flying ones quite easy. When it came to the rest, the instructions aren't clear but you can struggle through. Unfortunately, the instructions for some of the better known dinosaurs aren't clear at all and just look like a jumble of dotted lines and arrows and could probably do with an extra couple of steps thrown in.

Simple instructions even I could follow - and I am a complete beginner. My two sons love the simple little dinosaurs I can now make for them.

Awesome book lol their was 4 adults baffled by it though. it would be hard for kids 😂 good thing i didn't buy it for kids!

Just what I was after although some of the dinosaurs were a little tricky

This was purchased as a gift for our son, the budding paeleontologist and it has proven very successful. The directions are clear, easy to follow and the results are excellent. It has sparked an interest in the theories behind folding paper into shapes, which is part of what we'd hoped would happen. The dinosaurs will be small, of course, but using larger sheets of paper has helped us produce some rather terrifying T Rexii for the shelving display. Dover books are always winners, there is never a concern when buying one, as they are created to be clear, concise and perpetually enjoyable.

The origami in this book is just what i like. In fact, it was so easy, it only took me a week to make all models. They look so good. BUT This is a little harder than beginners but too easy for intermidiates. It's like a medium difficulty. After lookingat some other reviews, i decided to make a dicision. If you write a comment that says "toutorial please!", I will change this review and put in a toutorial for the hard parts. Now back to my review, This is so good, I can't wait to get the secong one! Highly reccommended for origami fans RRRRAAAARRRRR!!!!

Excellent value and hours of fun. Origami teaches precision and patience. Great for small spaces or travel. I also bought an extra pack of origami paper to go with this, which I anticipate will be used well by 9mo grandson.

El libro se ve genial. Es un regalo para un niño. Me tomé la libertad de hacer al Stegosaurio porque me encanta. No fue fácil y en la foto se aprecia que no me quedó como en el libro. Algunos pasos parece que se saltaron. Cabe señalar que no soy experto en Origamis. Espero que después de hacer más, sea más fácil. Como nota, es Stegosaurio es el último dinosaurio de la lista. Quizás sea el más complejo de todos.
