I quite enjoy a bowl of rice and I also add it to my dog’s food. This rice is quite tasty.

Very nice rice. Easy to cook using 2-1 water to rice ratio. Not at all sticky or mushy, I didn’t even bother rinsing it! Good value too. This will be my go to for long grain rice from now on.

Similar to other reviews - I have been buying this rice for a couple of years. My recent batches post 2026 have all turned out to be extremely sticky (starchy) even after washing several times. It also sticks to wok when stir frying that did not happen previously. Amazon has changed this rice type since Jan 2026 and is no longer edible (horrible taste) or good to cook with. Amazon - Can you please investigate what has happened and go back to the previous long grain rice supplier sold 2024/2025 as this recent supply is only good enough for the Bin. UPDATE - After trying a few cooking methods I found the following helps eliminate the sticky/starch mushy issue. Using Microwave - Rinse 12 times - 1 x cup rice vs 2 x water and loosely cover - cook full power 5 mins - then cook 50% power for 10 to 12 mins or until some water still visible above rice level. When complete, Pour some more boiling water over rice and stir to release any starch still present. Pour all starch water from rice and leave to cool. You should now find rice is not as mushy (more firm) and most of the gloopy starch is gone and easier to cook with (e.g. stir fry). I have increased the score to 3 now but as said previously - this is not the same quality rice I used to buy some months back and 2025. Hope this helps.

I was surprised by how good this rice turned out to be. I had low expectations when I ordered it, as the one I usually bought was way too expensive. So, I decided to go for the Amazon brand, and I'm glad I did. It turned out amazing; the grains are like Basmati rice – not mushy – and also taste really good. I will buy it again.
