SoloWIT Cooling Earpads for Bose QC35 & QC35 ii - Black

These were a great replacement for my aging black ear pads, I love style of the orange colour, and the black fabric that makes contact around the ears is softer and more comfortable than faux-leather alternatives. The ear pads were easy to fit, and came with instructions and a tool to help prise the old ones off. The padding is noticeably different to the old foam ear pads with a jelly-like consistency, the noise cancelling remains effective with the new ear pads - overall I'm very happy and they are great value.

Initial impressions are really good. The material feels very soft, and much more suitable for the ears than leather, and the thickness is significantly better than the original ear cups (which is a welcomed upgrade as well). Had my QC35’s for about10 years, and I intend as using them as my home gym headphones, and feel the new ear-pads will be perfect for sweat and overall comfort. Easy to install, great value for the money paid, and hopefully have great longevity to match. Highly recommended.

Now the pads that came with the QCs are pretty good but these ones! These ones somehow stop me sweating profusely all the way through the battery life of the headphone!

Nice, comfortable replacement pads. Fit nicely, easy installation, great sound, cooler than stock earpads. Will buy again once they go. Let's hope they last a while.

Quality top notch. Perfect fits, better firmness and shape on my relic BOSE QC15. Actually this is my 2nd buy 1st bought for my daughters bose QC25 and perfect fit and beautiful. And i liked it and of course the price range just about right. Not too expensive. Some replacements pads sells over £20-30 for me its overpricing. I would say Solowits better/best buy for now.

I've replaced the pads on my Bose QC 2's a bunch of times now. I was having a problem on my last set that my ears were getting squashing against the insides, the pad must have flattened out. These are much thicker and very comfortable and don't suffer from that issue. I suspect they never will due to how thick they are from the start.

Works well and definitely feels cooler on my ears than the OG pads. Comfier as well. However, one knock I noticed on these are that my active noise cancellation feature on my QC-35II is not as good as before. Still works but I get more noise in from outside. in the plane, I noticed more ambient noise from the flight coming in than before. What I did to reduce the flight noise is to squish the headphones to my ears. This means that the memory foam or whatever is used in the pads might be too porous and that is what is allowing a subtle bit more ambient noise in. Still does a bang up job but not as good as the OG pads. I'd still use these on the long haul flights as they are much more comfortable to me than the OG's.

Good build quality. These are cooler than the standard pads also. Beware though, installing these will require some serious effort. Use your nail instead of the plastic tool provided.
