Hi,. what is difference between dynamat 10455 as supplied by dynamat, by celsus or ny china? the price of by dymamat seems three times the others?

Dynamat is Distributed in UK by Celsus and approved Dynamat dealers. Dynamat is the original sound deadening brand leader made only in USA.

how many sheets do you need a mid-size car

1 box = low coverage 2 boxes = thorough coverage The documentation states that a 30% covering is the minimum for satisfactory results. Remember that this layer is to reduce noise by reducing chassis vibrations, you will need to cover this with Dynaliner to reduce the noise directly.

does it offer insulation keeping the van warm

Although sound deadening will stop a small amount of heat transfer through a panel, it is not really classed as insulation. It is designed to stop noise caused by structural resonance and vibations in panels. To insulate a van you need to overlay with a thicker closed cell foam liner or recycled plastic layer.
