Great resource for campers
Wow I can’t believe how much the guide has shrunk in 5 years . Still I love having this guide so I don’t have to spend hours searching through google or google maps to find a campground in an area where we want to stay . It’s nice to have a book that has every campground in one spot and not have to bounce around on the internet . It does include the state parks but I wish it would include , fees, and number of sites for each listing . It’s still great for all the private own campgrounds to see the ratings , amenities , and trip ideas . The state map in the front of each section is also nice as you can see where the campground is in reference to cities, state parks, and other campgrounds. If your a seasoned camper like myself or newbie. I would recommend getting this book.

If you have an RV, this book is a MUST HAVE
You and your RV are rolling down the road and you stop for lunch. You look to see what town is a couple of hours down the road. You then look in your Good Sam book, find a campground, call and make a reservation. Easy and done.

Not a complete RV campground book
This book only really describes Good Sam campgrounds. Others are just listed by name. I don’t remember the name of the big guide that I used to have with our old RV and guide book, but it was sooo much better and more complete. I just look at names and then look up on my phone to find out the basic information. The best thing in the book are the campground MAPS.

Better than the other campground guide a bought.
Like it because it lists cheaper campgrounds. but, not ALL camp sites in towns , because our town is not in there.

Still love to just have a hard copy handy
Call me old fashion but it just brings me piece of mind to have a book version that I can use anywhere. We used it on our trip to Colorado and it was so useful to have. You can trust the Good Sam campground ratings.
