Poor design
The standard Rotopax Mount is absolute rubbish. It does not hold the can firmly and I suspect it will fall off. Secondly when the mount does not have a can attached. the retaining collar will work itself loose and you will loose it. Complete waste if money that I would like to return for a refund, but I an nit allowed as I have fitted it. But in doing si I have found how rubbish it is. Buy the Delux version as that has a second locking down collar. That is what they should be selling - the standard ine is simply not fit for purpose. Very, very disappointed

Great Product but...
This is a great product it does what it supposed to do and that what the rating is for and why i gave it a 5 star... but I would recommend getting the deluxe verison because it way better and quicker to take on and off with less fighting to get tight. Dont get me wrong this product is great and works as it should finsih is good nothing wrong with how it was made well made product and i would recommend this but i would also if someone want to spend a bit more just go with the deluxe verison i find it better. I personally will pay a bit more for high speed stuff that makes it easier and can save you time. all in all its your choice just letting you know what i think.

Great item and fast ship!
Used on my Dakar to mount a gas tank for trips to Labrador and coast-to-coast. Well made, worked perfect. Fast ship. Totally recommend. If mounting on an aluminum case... reinforce case! The mount is great, but the gas can may add more stress than a top mount case can handle. Fast ship and great seller!
