How is it applied and used?

Hi Kevini use this product to keep my dogs leather collar soft and supple. I apply the soap using a clean cloth and rub it into the leather then polish it off again using a new soft cloth to buff it up . My dogs gave been wearing their leather collars for years me and still looking as good as the day they got them. Fabulous product

Is this suitable for white leather sneakers?

Yes, Fiebings saddle soap is suitable for all leathers except suede . It is a great product for cleaning ingrained dirt from shoes, bags, belts, saddlery and furniture etc. The soap is colourless and so can be used on any colour leather and is ideally used for the initial deep clean of shoes prior to using renovator and then polish to re-shine the leather. If you want to add white colour to your sneakers as well you should use a renovator or restorer for leather, which will add colour and cover scratches etc.

Does it contain lanolin?

I am not too sure as my box isn’t here at home. It is a paste. It has glycerine which is great. I use neatsfoot oil after I scrub with this. It’s the best! Been using it for 30+ years. Check out the makers site: www.fiebing.com
