Powerful. Adjustable. Lightweight. Great item!
Love this light!! Works amazing! Is everything as advertised. Very light weight. Manageable. Love the cord design because it doesn’t add stress to the electrical mechanism inside. Should make for a long lasting life. If I needed more, I'd definitely buy them.

Inexpensive, but works really well, bright!
For such an inexpensive item, this lightbox works very well. The amount of illumination is adjustable and can be quite bright if that is what one needs. I often take it with me, because it is so thin and weighs almost nothing. It comes with a sleeve ( kinda cheap ) that covers it and I kept its box which is handy.

Early impression: great little light table
Executive Summary (TL;DR): For $20 USD, this is a pretty killer deal if you need a light box: it is very slim and lightweight, the metal frame is quite sturdy, the light is bright and adjustable, and you can power it using using regular wall AC or USB power brick. Details: These are my very early impressions having used the light table for about a week, so they may change over time. If they do, I'll post an update. I bought this for tracing: I have photos that I would like to turn into pen and watercolor paintings. It is easy in Adobe Photoshop to open an image, duplicate the image layer, apply the Find Edges filter, then add a Black and White adjustment layer to get a very usable line tracing from the image. Add a Curves adjustment layer to dial in contrast. Voila! a printable line drawing from an image. Thing is, I'm a complete noob at this and my pen and ink skills are still a bit shaky (I was going to say sketchy...). I'm using the light board to trace the more technical parts of the drawing. So far, I've been pretty pleased with the results. Here are the things that I really like about this: - as others have said, the light is quite bright and it is adjustable - it is very slim, lightweight, and easily portable - the version I bought came with a longish power cable and a power adapter, which I appreciate - the two plastic clips don't feel very sturdy, but they work well holding an image and tracing paper to the board - it is possible to "lock" the on/off and light adjustment / dimmer buttons, which are exquisitely sensitive to touch and easy to inadvertently activate (they should have been placed along the top where the user is less likely to brush up against them) - press the Up and Down dimmer buttons at the same time and hold for 3 seconds - the light will blink and the buttons will be locked - do this again to unlock the buttons - it comes with a very lightweight non-woven bag with a carrying handle - it's nothing I would use for transport, but it can be used as a dust cover - you can power it using the USB adapter or just plug it into a USB power brick - I like the flexibility I will say that if you are using 300 gsm / 140 lb paper - especially cold pressed paper with significant texture - it can be a bit challenging to see detail even at the highest light intensity. I'm guessing that slightly lighter paper (100 lb) with a smooth surface like hot press might work a bit better. You'll definitely want to experiment a bit. I would also say that if you were planning to throw this in a backpack or book bag, you might want to invest in some type of sleeve or carrying case to keep all of the bits and bobs together and keep the screen from getting scratched up. Recommendations: Preliminarily, I can recommend this without hesitation: If you're looking for an inexpensive, reasonably sturdy and bright light box, this is definitely worth considering.

Excellent and bright light pad for tracing garment patterns
I bought this light pad for tracing my garment patterns onto separate paper, so I don't have to cut my originals. I just received this and have only used it to trace 3 pattern pieces, but I am super pleased! The light is quite bright. I almost bought the A1 size, but went with the A2 instead and I'm so glad I went down a size. The A2 is plenty big enough for a standard bodice front or back. I did have to scooch things a bit for a sleeve pattern, but it was a non-issue. A reviewer mentioned the power cord that sticks out from the frame is unprotected and they were right. I plugged things in, then picked up the unit and immediately pulled the plug apart - DOH! No damage done, but I taped my cord to the edge of the frame with black Gorilla tape and it works nicely that way. Now when I'm distracted I will still likely pull the plug apart, but the end that meets the frame won't suffer any trauma. I also preferred this frame as it comes with an adapter plug not a USB and it is not a rechargeable unit. I can see the usefulness of those features for someone else, but for me this is the better option. They provide 4 clips that are nice and strong, although I don't know if i will have a use for them. Time will tell. I love the light settings. There are 5 levels of brightness and you can lock them so you don't bump the button and accidentally change things or turn off the unit. The light pad came in a very sturdy slender box (only 1.5") that had a foam frame around the device. Since I can't leave it set up, I will use the box and padding for storage.

Huge, bright, and extremely helpful for large diamond art projects
I originally purchased the B4 size, which is 15.79" x 11.85", for diamond art and liked it so much that when I started doing larger wall-art size diamond art projects, I purchased this larger A2 size, which is 25.39" x 18.54". This A2 one is huge, and it is awesome for bigger projects. The light box makes a big difference when trying to see the small numbers, letters, and symbols on diamond art canvases. It makes the fine details much easier to see, which is especially helpful as eyesight changes with age. I have also purchased the B4 size as gifts for other people I know who enjoy diamond art. What I like: • Huge work surface • Great for large diamond art projects • Makes symbols, letters, and numbers much easier to see • Very helpful for fine-detail work • Great for tracing • Useful for other crafts beyond diamond painting • 5 brightness levels • Bright enough for different types of projects • Even lighting across the surface • Helps reduce eye strain during longer crafting sessions • Slim design • Stays cool while using • Large enough for wall-art size projects • The B4 size is easier for on-the-go use • The A2 size is better for larger projects • I saved the original boxes from both sizes because they work well for storage and transport • Good value for the size and usefulness • Nice gift for someone who enjoys diamond art or detailed crafts Things to be aware of: • The A2 size is very large, so make sure you have the space for it • It is not as easy to travel with as the smaller B4 size • I recommend saving the box for storage and transport • The surface should be handled carefully so it does not get scratched • The cloth sleeve is helpful, but I still prefer the box for better protection • The touch button can be sensitive, so it may get bumped while working • This is a corded light board, so you need to use it near power • For smaller projects or easier travel, the B4 size may be more convenient Overall: I really like this light box and think it is worth it, especially for larger diamond art projects. I started with the B4 size and liked it enough to come back and buy this huge A2 version for bigger wall-art projects. It makes the symbols and fine details much easier to see, which makes crafting more enjoyable and less frustrating. The B4 size is easier to take on the go, but the A2 size is great when you need the extra work surface. It is large, bright, slim, and useful for diamond painting, tracing, and other detailed craft projects. Just know that the A2 size is big, so you will want enough workspace and a good way to store or transport it.

Real Plug End, Light Lock Function, Multiple Brightness, Non Slip Feet
Money well spent. I use the light pad mainly for diamond painting and the large surface means I can complete a good portion of my bigger canvases before needing to move anything around. I have my light on a glass drafting table and it stays in place securely, without moving or sliding even on a fairly steep tilt due to the non slip feet. What I like most is the ability to lock the light so it stays on. So many times I have accidentally turned the light off while working because my arm or hand would brush over the power button but with the lock function, that does not happen, ever. There are multiple brightness options so you can find the perfect setting for your needs and the touch button functions are simple and easy to use. Even better and why I highly recommend this light pad, is the cord and plug. It is a real plug end and NOT a usb. There is a short cord that is attached to the side of the light pad , a couple inches long, that plugs into a second cord with the plug end on it. I like this setup because the cord never gets pulled out from the side of the light or gets loose or janky. The connections are tight and I have had zero issues with it. I did plan ahead however, and if for some reason that connection gets loose, you can just wrap a piece of electrical tape around it and it will stay snug. I am very happy with this light pad and would absolutely purchase from them again.

You can see through paper, like origami. Candling!
This is a backlit light pad tracing surface that illuminates the writing surface and allows you to see through your paper (candling) in order for you to trace something. But I use it in a different way; instead, I use it for folding paper airplanes or origami. The pad came with a 4-foot USB cable that you need to plug into the device cable, and I found that the device powers on upon being plugged in. While this limits it’s portability, this also means that it should light up automatically when given power, and so it should work with smart home voice activated devices like smart plugs. There are three buttons that are self explanatory: brightness up, power, and dimming down. I have determined 5 different brightness intensities with the highest setting being decently bright without being blinding. There are centimeters from 0-36 lengthwise and 0-26 centimeters in height. Likewise, there are 0-14 in Inches lengthwise and 0-10 inches in height. The pad itself is a mere half a centimeter thick, which is pretty impressive. After having folded paper airplanes for 15 minutes of use on the highest brightness setting, the device did not get hot. In conclusion, this seems to be a good product that works well for what I need it for. It should also work for it’s intended purpose of ease of painting/drawing/tracing very well. The controls are self intuitive and comes labeled with proper measurements. I do not know how long it will last, or if it will start to dim through constant use. But I am optimistic that it will do just fine for a long time.

Absolutely wonderful, very bright at full brightness and remarkably light
This is simply stunning. The device comes well packaged, and I was pleasantly surprised, even before opening it, that it is not particularly heavy. Once removed from the box, I would call it quite light, with no pun intended. I have been using light tables for years for artworking, but this is the largest. It is long time since I was working on A0 and A1 drawing boards and I have to admit I had slightly forgotten how large A1 is! The back is flat with no tilt stand, which though might have been nice should not be a problem and I can improvise, if a need is found. Currently, it is sitting on a study keyboard stand I already own, and this works perfectly. My reason for purchase was less its size as I've found my existing A2 table adequate for all drawings bar one I am contemplating, but the hope it would be brighter with the advance in LED technology. On my old table, dark shadowed areas of a reference photo, by the time I'd placed art paper over the photo, all detail was lost - not so with this new A1 board - wow! At full brightness it is stunning for such areas and can be dimmed to be more restful whenever one wishes, using the touch buttons. The lead from the power brick is good length - not an astonishing length but very usable. Incidentally, on turning it off and on again, the table relights at the brightness one last used. A nice touch. Portability and storage will be good. I may keep it in the card box it came in, but within that is a protective poly bag and I might put the light -table in that bag and then in my A1 Portfolio, but certainly it is so light that the carry weight would not be an issue. It is somewhat ironic that in the ISO sizing, allegedly the A1 size was designed as the largest easy to manage size for a sheet of paper/card... which means the second you put it in a portfolio or a box with some protective linings to its sides, - that must of course reult in something slightly larger - A1 delivers the smallest sized carrier as to be not so manageable! I think a portfolio due to the metal clip-binders these have for the inserted sleeves, might scratch the surface, which would be a shame - so that idea may not be a good one. From delivery, there is a protective peel-off film on the table, which I may leave on as it does not affect the performance and gives the surface a reassuring level of protection and durability for the longer term. I think the price point does suggest that the table will be of good quality, but it really does deliver on that to a far greater extent than I ever anticipated. On my older table I have had a drawing stalled for months because I simply could not see the darker shaded parts of the image through the good quality art paper - there is no such problem with this table. I bought it to be a partner to my A2 table, but now I believe it is not that, but its replacement.

Complete and absolute garbage
So glad I paid almost $200 for the A2. After buying it I stored it away, so I can't return it but after the first use today, the switches stopped working within 5 minuted and it got stuck on the brightest setting. This would not bother me but the frame gets so hot you can't touch it. Then it started coming apart. All this within half an hour of use. This is a dangerous and irresponsible product, buy it at your own risk! This piece of garbage in no way would pass the Australian Safety Standards tests, so I am not sure how Amazon even manages to sell it here.
