Paul books are cracking. I have used all sorts of study methods for my CCNA. Paul's are right up there with the best. Look for the CCNA in 60 Days book too.

Excellent labs to work through CCNA subject matter
Excellent labs to work through the CCNA subject matter, they have even included tips on the differences if you are using GNS3 for your labs in place of live equipment. Earlier versions of the book had the solutions in the 2nd half of the book, the format here in this version is the lab requirements that you are to attempt to configure immediately followed by a review/solution section for that lab - in comparison this makes the book so easy to use and work through, (don't peek though, you are only cheating yourself!).

I've bought most of Paul Brownings books and am always happy with the content - I just wish that with the lab books there was less serial connectivity. I understand that the technology is still in use however with GNS3 and VIRL out there now I'd like to see labs with a little less reliability on this technology.

Really helps to prepare students for the CCNA exams
I use this book as a resource to help my students prepare for the CCNA exams. labs are easy to follow and fun to do. Very well written by guys who really knows their stuff. I also used Paul and co CCNA in 60 days and Troubleshooting Simplified to study and pass my CCNA / CCNP exams. Apart from content, product quality is outstanding, will withstand many years of use.

This lab book pulls it all together.
Paul W Browning & Farai Tafa have put together a great lab manual. I've configured several of the labs these last two weekends and everything is coming together for me thanks to this book. The audience for this book is people who've gone thru one of the foundation texts and is done studying fundamental concepts. I've read the foundation books, read the 30 days til guide, watched videos, played with GNS3...and when you're ready, these labs will bring it home for you. I'd emphasize that after you've done the ground work, these labs are instrumental in to nailing it down once and for all. I feel a lot more confident.
