Great value, good functions.
This has to be the best buy I have made since buying my Nvidia Shield. I wasn't too happy with the controller so I thought this would do just as well. Don't get me wrong, the Shield controller is brilliant, just not what I needed. For starters, this is as simple as 'plun'n'play' (once you find the battery compartment-well hidden) No sooner was it plugged in that a cursor appeared on the screen and I waved away merrily. I am happy that you can set the sensitivity as my hands shake a little, In its original factory settings, the cursor moved far too fast for me to control so I slowed it down a bit. I'm sure it's a man thing. Only look at the instructions when you encounter an issue! The keys have a satisfying click to them so you know it is pressed. You still have to look at the TV screen to ensure what you have clicked actually happened and this is especially true when using the keyboard. Quite a few times I have pressed a letter twice by accident. Style wise, this airmouse is nothing to shout about but I am all for function, not style. In my books this is one good bit of kit and quite cheap as well. I haven't tried all the functions (such as the learning function) but when the need arises, I will always have the manual to guide me - so long as I can remember where I put it! One thing. If you buy this for the Shield as I did, the power button will not work. That is all I can find so far that may matter to some. Not me. I am very happy to have this.

Eats batteries
Worked ok but used up batteries every two months, just died after about 12 months, but I have dropped it a few times so maybe my bad.

Unreliable and worthless... Even for the price.
I bought this device 2 months ago for use with an Amazon Fire TV ... The latest version. Upon receipt of the remote I plugged the USB dongle in and it worked ok. I was able to use the basic functions like the direction arrows, OK button, play/pause etc. Even the air mouse feature worked fine - high sensitivity might render this less useable than one might think, but that's a personal thing. One thing though - out of the box, the learning feature never worked at all, even after repeating the process a few times on multiple device remotes... But I didn't buy it for that so it didn't bother me much. Anyway, fast forward two months... The buttons have apparently random functions now... Can't click OK because it moves the cursor left for example. Note that nothing changed... I just encountered this issue out of the blue. I suppose you get what you pay for... I think they tried to cram to much functionality into one device and ended up missing the mark on reliability. Unfortunate because the build quality and backlight etc are all pretty great.

A good value small keyboard.
This is good value for what it is. I wouldn't like to use it for typing for any great length of time, but for small amounts it's surprisingly useable although it does not come with all of the symbols that a full keyboard does. The air-mouse function works, but takes a great deal of getting used to - I did not get along with it well. I should imagine that the IR function would be useful but unfortunately it requires the original remote to learn from. It would have been a lot more useful if worked in a similar manner to a 'universal remote' - i.e. you type in a code and it configures itself to that brand / model. All in all though, it is a very useful. It works flawlessly with the Raspberry Pi and Windows 10. (I've not tried it on a Mac, but I can't see why it wouldn't work too).

Keyboard is just too fiddly for me and it is uncomfortable to use.
I've been using this for a while now and it is fine for very temporary use, other than that, I would not recommend this as a solution for replacing a normal keyboard and mouse unless you have no other option. It worked as soon as I plugged in the USB part and the movement of the cursor was ok, if a bit slow. I followed the instructions to increase the sensitivity but nothing happened which was frustrating. What was even more frustrating was typing in passwords. If you have passwords with upper and lower case and characters, the 'CAPS' and 'ALT' buttons do not highlight when they are in use, so you're not really sure what you may be typing in, and if you're using a website that doesn't allow you to see the password you're typing in (like a Windows 10 log in screen!) you're going to struggle to key it in correctly. This took me over 10 minutes to get correct! Not a good user experience really. Also, when you hold it with both hands to use the keyboard, the edges that rest on your fingers are sharp and not rounded, which results in a very uncomfortable experience, it's not nice to hold and type at all. Another issue is when typing email addresses. The @ is not on the key it says it is! It is on a different one, you'll have to figure this out. However, the keys do have a back light which may be useful in a home cinema set up when using in the dark. For me though, this was all just too frustrating - the slow cursor and typing in text was all too much of a chore. I am reverting to my wireless full sized keyboard and mouse.

Mouse pointer not as responsive as I would like
A**.
