Q: I have just recieved this order. But it has come flat. How do I blow it up?

Should not be flat! but mine smelled terrible and we couldn't use it for its intended recipient who has sensory issues. Smells "petrolly"

Q: Would this be suitable for a 10 month old? I'm hessitant to buy due to the possibility of the 'hairs' being bitten off.

Not only can the hairs b bitten off, it's possible to bite a hole in the ball and it deflates. It lasted my grandson 5 minutes before this happened.
