This machine does not match Addi at all

What if you can't get the screw out of the machine handle to get it off? Is there a work around to still be able to use this before I return it?

I broke my handle off and eventually got the screw out. It was stripped to begin with. Now I need a new screw for the adapter but I don't know what size to get.
