I have just received this shoe and the laces are frayed almost to the point of snapping. Who can I contact to send me another lace?
Is it for left handed children too?

Helpful

Baught this for my son to practice doing lacy. It's definitely been helpful. He practices with it. He likes it. Good and steady. I think it because it's like a real shoe so you can get a real good practice. It's nice a sturdy too. Good size. Great and helpful product for my son.

Boot Lace!

A very well made Boot with no rough edges and virtually indestructible. The substantial base is plain ply wood, varnished inside and out. The thick middle sides of the shoe are pillar box Red inside and out, with White eyelets painted around the outside of each hole. There are 5 pairs of holes. The solid ankle section is plain White inside and out. The solid toe is plain White all over. The lace is a good quality weave, pillar box Red and White with 1 1/4" 2.5cm plastic binding to each end. It's rather long 67" 1m 69.5cm. This length is needed for the size of shoe, however I keep it out of reach when I'm not actually with my little one using it.All measurements are approx:-Sole/BaseLength just under 8 1/2" 21cmWidth at widest point 3 3/4" 9cmWidth at narrowest point 2 1/2" just under 6cmDepth 1/2" 1.5cmHighest point Ankle 12.5cm just under 5 1/4"Shortest point Toe 1 3/4" just over 4cmHole diameter just under 1/2" just over 1cmMy little one enjoys just threading the lace through any way. As the holes are large, it's very easy to push the lace through. When a little older we will use this to help learn tie a lace. It's heavy enough to remain in one place pretty well when in use too. This is also enjoyed shuffling around worn on a foot, though uncomfortable! This will undoubtedly last years and would be ideal for a special education/classroom environment. We are very pleased we bought this lovely shoe.

Tricky Tie Sorted

COST: Very ReasonableGOOD BITS:My son was struggling to learn how to tie his shoes for starting school last year. And we had tried using other methods to teach him but the shoe lace on this shoe is great. It's thick enough for her small hands to manage and within the first day of trying, he learned how to tie a shoe. A friend recommened this shoe to me and I recommend it to everybody I know.BAD BITS: I wish it had come with around the tree" directions but it didn't come with either.WOULD I RECOMMEND: 100%

Learn through play

Great item for kids to learn through play. The colours are lovely and bright. It is a perfect size for children. The shoe has a bit of weight to it, to keep everyone safe you need to be careful with small children incase they throw it.

Well made but the string is too long.

Good idea and well made but the string is too long so it is hard for children to tie a tight bow.

Excellent - really lovely, durable, fun and educational

My 6 and 4 year olds loved this shoe. The 6 year old has never had to tie laces in his life before and was very upset when he got new lace up shoes and he couldn't do them. Bought this big toy shoe and he's no longer afraid of laces! Still needs a bit more practice but he's getting there. Excellent buy. Very robust, brightly coloured and easy to use.

Everyone was happy, so I paid for them and went home ...

Made the bold choice lately to buy my kids some shoesbut instead of being involved, I just told them they could choose.Everyone was happy, so I paid for them and went homeThrew them in a cupboard and barefoot they would roam. But then after the school hols on a rainy Monday mornThe error of my actions, suddenly began to dawn. We're a Velcro household or slip-on-shoe type gaffThey'd all picked laces! Were they having a laugh?A toddler, a baby and 3 year old boywere all pulling the laces, like shoes were a toy!The other two rebels, aged 6 and 4were tangled in knots as they approached the front door. What on earth was I thinking, I'm an absolute twit!So they all wore wellies and the laces we quit. But I had to parent and be mature and stuffso I resort to Amazon when things get tough.Typed a few words and this thing looked good.It was aesthetically pleasing; made out of wood.Added to basket, paid for it toothen awaited delivery of my saviour shoe.It came fairly quick and there was no time to wastebut teaching this skill is so slow-paced.I gave up with the baby, to him it was foodand the toddler was in her throwing mood. All of a sudden with the help of the abovesomething was flying. 'Is it a dove?'No, it's this toy and now it can fly.My daughter threw it up and I caught with my eye.So with a throbbing right shiner and a trio to teachMy vision was one-sided so I couldn't quite reachthe loops or the ends, I was beaten by shoe!So I got their new shoes and fixed the laces with glue.
