Ideal Othello Classic Game: A minute to learn, One Colour, One Size

Othello, amazing game very easy to learn , but a life time to master, been playing this game for many years recommend it

I had been looking for this game for quite some time but the price was way above what I was prepared to pay. Then I found this supplier. At first I though that maybe it was of a less sturdy quality but I was wrong. It is an original and of excellent quality, just at a much better price than anywhere else. It is a fantastic game and really can be learnt by children as young as 4 or 5, yet enjoyed thoroughly by adults of all ages. Highly recommend. It was delivered within a couple of days of placing the order and in perfect condition.

The board is made of a sturdy plastic with green felt like base. Raised edges to the counter placement positions keep them in position even in a moving vehicle. Counters are a good size and easy to hold. Instructions are clear and easy to follow. Good quality well made product.

I got this for my partner for Christmas and she loves it. I used to play Othello as a child and loved it and thought it was one to add to our growing games collection. Othello is a brilliant strategy game and as it says, it takes a minute to learn and a life time to master. You essentially outflank your opposing colour with your counters. The game is really strategic and you can change the whole board with a few well placed counters. Children and adults can play and you can pick it up and become rather good in a few games. There is also a good handicapping system to, like giving corners away from the beginning which are very strategic squares. It has quickly become a favourite and have played twice this week already :) If you love draughts, chess etc then Othello will become a firm favourite.

I'm really enjoying this game! I had many board games but none that were playable with just two! At first glance it seemed almost too simple, as if it were just going to be chaos and luck and not feel like a real game, however before we knew it, we were playing intense games of strategy and skill! It's super addictive and I love that even if all seems lost in the beginning of a game, there's always a chance you can make your way back for the win!

I enjoyed playing this game, having played it when I was at school. I also loved introducing it to my family and teaching them how to play it.

Jugué por primera vez en Inglaterra y me encantó. En las jugueterias en España me fue imposible encontrarlo. Las reglas son fáciles de aprender, cuanto más juegas vas desarrollando tus propias estrategias, eso es lo que más me gusta. Es un juego dinámico y nada aburrido.
