Magnetic Backed A4 Magnetic Dry Wipe Board Whiteboard With Pen

** UPDATE: April 2018 **We've been using the board now for a couple of months and personally, I felt the review needed a quick update. There's a film of plastic over the top of the board, as you would expect, that makes it wipeable. I keep one board in the office for long-term goals and TODO lists that change every few weeks. There's a second board in the kitchen that we use daily/weekly for shopping lists and meal planning. The office board wipes fine, even after content is left on it for months. The kitchen board, however, is starting to look a bit worse for wear. Where we have been frequently rubbing bits out (i.e. changing meals & updating tasks) the top film has started peeling away from the backing board. Not ideal, but still usable... for now. I expect it will wear itself away completely in the next couple of months, but will update this review when it does!So depending on how frequently you intend to use your board, don't expect it to last for more than a couple of months for daily use, but much longer for infrequent use.Updated Good Points:- Leaving marker content on the board i still easy to wipe away months later.Updated Not-so Good Points:- Frequent use will drastically shorten its lifespan.** Original Review **I bought this whiteboard for the kitchen to hang up as a general to-do list and planner. It arrived quickly and was put up on the kitchen cabinet within minutes. As people have already commented, there is no magnetic backing so don't expect to attach it to the fridge without blu-tak or your own magnetic strips. However, the general quality is better than an identical product being sold for slightly less on Amazon (I won't post the link as they should be avoided). Overall construction is good with a reasonable pen and two magnets supplied. For something mounted on cardboard, it's actually pretty sturdy too, just don't use it anywhere wet.Good points- Arrived quickly (3rd party supplier in the UK from the looks of things)- Acceptable construction quality- Wipes easily and has a smooth surface to write on- 1 x pen with eraser- 2 x magnets- 1 x happy customer- Handy string loop to hang on thingsNot-so good points- The back is two sheets of cardboard, but what do you expect for under £2?- Misleading description

Whilst I didn’t expect much from a product priced so cheaply, I didn’t expect it to be quite so poor.On delivery, the clip which holds the pen was broken. The white board itself consists of a coated piece of cardboard in a plastic frame. The supplied pen was dried out and didn’t work. Then the final straw; we put it on the fridge, hoping to get a replacement pen, after less than 5 minutes it fell off, leaving the magnets stuck to the door, and smashed the frame.10 minutes after delivery it was in the bin.Truly the worst product I have ever bought on Amazon or anywhere, and waste of the time and effort put in by everyone who had to pick, pack and deliver this piece of rubbish.

Bought as a teaching resource, the pen is good and lasts a long time. It also wipes off easily and does not leave marks or stains. The tip of the pen has a very helpful rubber. However the rubber does not last long, as it collects the ink, and begins to spread it around after several uses rather than wiping it off. Also comes with two strong magnets which would prove useful if needed. The board itself is rather small and compact, ideal for a desk top memo board but not as a fixture for walls etc.PROS -useful rubber on pen lidbold lasting ink in penuseful, strong magnets if neededCONS -rubber does not last more than several useswhiteboard is quite small

The pros: Bought these for the kids whilst schooling at home. They have been great to have, came in 3 different colours and have magnets on the back so can just put them on the freezer to tidy them away when not in use. Plus comes with a pen so the kids could get started straight away.The cons: the whiteboard part is literally just cardboard, and one had a dent in the board and a tiny tear in the other. The magnets have needed super-gluing back on at times.Conclusion: I probably wouldn't buy these again, but I'm still happy with my purchase. Not amazing quality, so will need replacing at some point. But the price was great and the kids love them and they have been really useful for our home learning. So for the price they are good for what I bought them for.

Cheap and cheerful! Nothing fancy, back is made of cardboard, probably wouldn't stand up to heavy use (from particularly energetic children, say) but works just fine for hanging on a door and writing shopping lists or the day's chores on. Pen doesn't leave stains on the white surface and has a little sponge on the end for cleaning the board. Roughly A4 size. If you're looking for something that you want your grandkids to inherit one day decades from now look elsewhere and shell out a bit more, otherwise I definitely recommend this. Haven't tested the magnet's strength yet, but they are a vital component of making a smiley face on the board, for sure.

I am a list maker so ordered this to save paper.. It was going really well but it didn't clean well.. And after a few weeks the surface was peeling and had bubbles..... SO IT TURNS OUT I AM A MORON.. It has a plastic film to protect it.... Now it's ace cleans well and can't fault it

Whiteboard is made of cardboard, so not sure how long it will last, hence why it is the cheapest. Got it for lockdown homeschooling, hopefully will last the lockdown and time period my son is off school, but but quality a bit disappointing.

Very cheap in price and cost them very little to make.The white board itself is a piece of cardboard, as you can see from other reviews picture, which has a white covering on the front side allowing it to be written on and to wipe off. Although it doesn't wipe fully clean for me.On the back it has two strips of magnets. After a couple of days being stuck to my fridge it fell off. The magnets are still on my fridge and the board lives on the side. I couldn't be bothered to send this back as it was only cheap.I do not reccomend. Spend a few more pounds.
