No. It is too small, you would need a rod at least 180cm long which could then be adjusted to make it an inch or two smaller..

It holds up two heavy(ish) curtains for me - but I only if I create a lot of tension with it.

Yes it would the tension is really strong but make sure you don’t try to skimp on the size ie if you are on the limit use the next size. I have used this some years ago in a caravan and it was fine
