hi i am new to the sfx and micro PSU's world. how does this work? do i need to purchase a laptop inverter? or does it come with a 3pin mains socket?

It terminates to a laptop style circular connector that bolts into a hole in the case. You then buy separately a laptop style power block that plugs into this and the mains. I bought a 120w block, which I think amazon advertises as a 'buy together' option.Had mine running for a year now and the silent PC runs nicely.

Hello it has 1 sata and 1mol connector you can get a mol to sata converter so you have 2 sata. You can not run more then 2 devices as I found out due to the unit not having enough power. Hope this helps. Ron

Hi, It depends on whether the drives are active or not, the total of their power consumption and the remaining power available. This sounds obvious but you can calculate the total power usage the peripheral components in your system use by simple arithmetic. The PSU max peak power is 200W; Your CPU requires 35W, the HDD WD Red (4TB) drives read/write power usage is 4.5W per drive and the idle power usage is 3.3W per drive. Any other devices in the system will require specific power demands such as CD/DVD drive, Mainboard, cooling fans, etc.. It would also depend on how you would connect the HDD's, either in external USB HDD enclosures or internally using the PSU power connectors of which there are two.
