I use these for a radio in the kitchen and replace as required with four others in turn around, e.g 4 in radio and 4 in reserve fully charged.

Will the EBL5000 battery fit a standard torch please?

I estimate that these batteries are about 0.7 mm longer than the standard 'D" size battery. If you need to stack 3 in a row as I did, that amounts to 2.1 mm longer than standard !! I disagree with a previous answer which says all 'D' size will fit equipment requiring 'D" size batteries. Mine didn't !!!

One of the cells bought in the last month has become faulty. How do i get one replacement?

you will have to contact the seller and explain your problem. they will probably ask you to return the faulty battery so that they can test it themselves and then issue a replacement should it prove to be a battery rather than a user fault.
