My cat loves it! I'm a pet-parent of a very low maintenance feline that snubs her nose at anything I've ever bought for her, but loves a paperball. I bought this with the hope she would at least make an attempt to clean her teeth with it. She's not a fan of catnip so I didn't expect much. To my surprise, she was instantly attached to it from the moment I took it out of the packaging. It was love at first sight and that hasn't changed. She approves. UPDATE: July 2015. Just more than a year later and still going strong. My picky kitty still prefers and obsesses over this thing. She's not gentle with it at all, but it is still completely intact and still her beloved. We have washed it many times with no problem. I think I will buy more and just throw them throughout the house. She deserves some joy. :) It truly is a nice product. Certainly not all cats will take to it, because that's just the way those darned things are. If you are lucky enough to be at least momentarily appreciated by your cat, you will congratulate yourself for buying this item. UPDATE: July 2023 I know, I know...I really need a life rather than keeping up with and giving updates on the quality of my cats' chew toys, but hey...what can I do? These little pretzels are STILL going strong and have not broken down. My little girl (now a cantankerous old lady) still loves it. She's as spry as a kitten and loves to chase and fetch them as we throw them on the stairs. Her abs are tighter than a bodybuilder's...I'm jealous. Maybe I should start playing with the pretzels. Anyway, my point is, you can't go wrong with this item. Buy a lot of them. Your cat will love you...maybe...honestly I can't make any promises when it comes to cats.

Unfortunately, my cat wasn't interested. It's also tiny, and might be more attractive to a small kitten than a grown cat. It came apart when taken off the cardboard packaging.

UPDATE: I have no clue how this makes sense or why they would do it this way.. But apparently they are grouping ALL of the petstages toys I purchased, together to be reviewed as one!!! So here we go, the one they show in the default picture is the pretzel: For some reason I thought this was going to be bigger than it is. No matter.. it’s cute, yet tiny, and well designed. Strong durability and good quality. Neither of my cats have cared for it. And even if they did, it’s too small for them to actually chew on for the purpose of teething or cleaning their teeth. They didn’t even want to play with it or bat it around. On the flip side, my puppy was briefly interested.. So at least it temporarily entertained him. I wouldn’t buy this one again unless at any point any of them do find interest in them. The mint stick: Cats had mild interest at first, then stopped caring. Puppy loves it. It is small, maybe the size of my pointer finger. Perfect size for them though. Donuts: Cats loved them at first, then lost interest. The interest seems to have come back, as I have been finding the tiny ones..donut holes? Around the house. Puppy is drawn to them, so I need to keep an eye on the two small pieces so he doesn’t choke. THE PICKLE!!!!!! This one is excellent!! Both cats like it, the youngest LOVES it. This is the first toy she went for out of all of them that I bought. She played with it for a long time, and still goes to it to rub on it, bite it a few times, or just lay with it. The puppy also likes this one. This one is way bigger than all of the others. Very well crafted/constructed. There is a soft/smooth side, and a netting side (for chewing), and it has a crunch sound and feel when you grip it or pinch it. The quality is great, as is the durability. I would DEFINITELY buy this one again, without hesitation. Final note.. the catnip in EVERY TOY was FRESH! So fresh and strong that when the Amazon bag came, my kitten immediately took it and laid on it..pawed at it, then started chewing at it to get it open!! Very pleased and thankful for the quality control here making sure no old or stale items were sent out!!!!

My cats love this new toy so much especially when it's thrown and they chase it plus carry it around the house.

My cat did not care about this whatsoever. It wasn't very interesting it didn't have any smell that intrigued him I wound up tossing it.

My cat absolutely loves this. It is simple and cheap. Win win. I've bought a couple extras and finally threw out the original. It lasted years. She still liked it but it was getting gross and crushed.

My cat who loves to chew on your buttons when you hold him loves to chew on these. I bought more than one, although they don’t seem to wear out. You can hear their teeth rubbing on the material. I don’t think he cares about the catnip though some might. Whenever we want to distract him from chewing on something we give him this and he happily chews on that. We love it!

これが大好きで、投げると持ってきてくれます。 ひとしきり遊んだらご飯のところに持って行って、カミカミしながらご飯食べます。（これ本当謎、同じ猫ちゃんいらっしゃるかしら） うちに来た時には生後半年を過ぎていて、超絶おてんばで歯磨きも慣れさせることができなかったので、歯磨き代わりにカミカミしてもらってます。 しないよりはマシかなーと思ってますがどうなんだろう。 噛み切って一度部分的に食べちゃったこともあるので絶対見守りと片付け必須です！！

en realidad es mucho más pequeño de lo que esperaba pero a mi gato le gustó mucho. Es su nuevo juguete favorito. Ya lo ha mordido mucho y aún conserva su forma, ni se ha roto. Buena calidad pero me hubiese gustado que fuera un poco más grande

Great teeth tool or ring for kitten with teeth coming through. Both of my cats loved this even my adult cat who was not teething.. I also put this in the fridge to help soothe and take down the inflammation from teething for my young kitten, I also used it as a way to keep my cats cool in the summer. My adult cat also loved to play and throw it in the air !!! Great toy!! Which was originally bought for my kitten who was teething!!
