Goo Gone Adhesive Remover Spray Gel, 236ml

So far I've used this on two distinct types of dirt - old glue, and greasy kitchen oil deposits, and both times it worked very well and quickly. The product is a sort of oil that dissolves sticky/greasy dirt. It doesn't foam or anything. Not much was needed to clean the dirt off. I found the cloths used were ruined however - mostly because they now contained a load of dissolved glue, so don't use any cloths you really like. Not the fault of the product, it did exactly what it needed to do by dissolving the glue, but be warned it doesn't emulsify the dirt in a way that will wash out of cloths, it just makes the dirt transfer to the cloth. Throw away paper towels are ideal for this.I had some greasy grime on the kitchen window above my cooker from oil particles in the air depositing on it, and nothing had properly cleaned off before, but this stuff rapidly dissolved and removed it. I also removed some old foam from window frames that left a sticky glue behind, this glue would have been about 15 years old at this point, and it dissolved it pretty fast and easily.I have some other sticky stuff removers I've tried that didn't clean the dirt at all, and they smelt very bad and left a difficult to clean off oily mess, so this stuff is vastly better. It does cost significantly more, but it works, so I think it's worth it. I haven't needed to use a lot however, so it should last a long time. I think this will be one of those products I buy occasionally and use as needed in small amounts.

I have never left a review but I must for this. I was sceptical about the cost as it is pricey but I needed to remove glue trap glue from my carpet. This worked amazingly. There was a lot of glue, A5 size, I used about 6 squirts of this and it is completely gone. Its left no marks, residue, stains, nothing. I used this on a beige Its left a lovely smell and removed everything. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this

I don’t normally do reviews, but this stuff is amazing. Bought car with some sort of glued ( hard glue patch about 20p piece material on passenger seat in 2 places. Tried to pick it it off but was worried I’d rip upholstery. Got this stuff and sprayed it directly in to it. Waited about a min then used cloth and washing liquid and rubbed. It started to just dissappear. Done it 2nd and 3rd time and completely removed it and didn’t mess up upholstery. Obviously follow instructions and try on hidden piece.

Used it for removing tape residue from the AC window kit and it does the job perfectly without damaging the glass or the frame.The only downside is it leaves a really oily layer which need a very thorough cleaning and my room had chemical smell for days.

I've never used a product like this before. It removed paint and glue stains from my carpet that I'd honestly given up on. I applied it, left it to sit for a few minutes, and everything came off without having to scrub like crazy. Highly recommend.

Works very well on adhesive and sticker residue. Didn't work on crayon or pen marks. VERY oily, so you have to clean the areas you sprayed it all over again to get rid of oil. Since it's spray bottle, the oil gets everywhere. Very pleasant orange smell. Overall not bad, but not worth the price. I would rather have used acetone to get rid of sticker residue.

Terrible product, turns tape residue into goo... doesn't remove it fully, creates a lot of mess... absolutely rubbish. Save yourself some money and use WD40 if you have it instead... much better. Never again

This stuff is amazing. I had internal upvc window frames, with strips of years old hard immovable glue that had come from double sided Velcro that someone had attached to the frame. I sprayed the goo gone on the hard residue glue, left it to soak for 5-10 minutes and it the glue began to soften. With an old credit card I scraped off the softening glue. It took a few more sprays and scraping attempts but it’s all off now. Very pleased

I’d definitely recommend this for removing stickers from cookers, fridges, or stubborn glue marks on floors. I’d tried everything before finding this. Just spray it on, leave it for a minute, then peel the residue away or use a light scraper if needed. It worked brilliantly for me.

Always had Goo Gone in the tiny bottle, but having the bigger spray bottle has enabled me to use it on more jobs more effectively. Used to rub it in, and most would be lost to the cloth. But by spraying a thin layer on the object, and letting it sit, jobs are simple. Smell doesn't upset anyone either.

Generally, removes the adhesive; but leaves your object or fingers smelling like gasoline. Be very careful not to get this on your skin and use a paper towel.
