Revlon ColorStay Makeup Foundation for Oily Skin

I was looking for a very long time for a foundation that would not make my face cakey. Since I have combined skin, I was always wearing matte foundation but none of them suited my skin. I tried a lot from NYX and L'Oréal and cheaper ones but they either were bad quality, either they were looking horrible on my skin. My problem was always that the foundation was clogging all my dilated pores and the face was looking very cakey, especially around my nose, mouth and on my forehead. I did not had much hope with this foundation because I was thinking that it will be same as others to be honest... and how wrong was I... I received it today and put it on immediately to test it. It's very liquid but covers good and looks sooo natural on skin. Also it's so good that even if you mess up, it's possible to correct everything very quickly with same layer or with another one on top. It even covered my dilated pores very well without clogging them. For full coverage is needed for 2 layers, but even with only one, it looks so flawless on the skin and so natural that my boyfriend didn't even observed that I'd put foundation on. Also feels light on the skin and first 4-5 hours feels like I wear nothing on my face even with powder on as well. After 5 hour in my case I started to have a little oil on my skin but it was less than I had it with any other foundation, also I put my fingers on the skin to see how it feels and it's not sticky at all, after 5-6h of wearing it - for me that's amazing! This is by far my favourite one and I already threw all the rest of my foundations, will definetely buy more.

I love this foundation, but haven't been able to find it in the shops any more, so really pleased to have found it here. It's a light consistency and doesn't make my skin feel clogged, but it lasts all day.

Got this because EL double wear made my rosacea worse. The colour (Sand Beige) is an excellent match for my light olive skin so top marks for that. I work in a hospital so need to look presentable for up to 12 hours as a time. Applied with a brush no problems over a mattifying moisturiser and finished off with powder and looked lovely. it stayed on pretty nicely for a few hours. I found I had to put on a couple of layers of it on problematic rosacea areas around my nose. Probably better to use a concealer, I guess one product cannot do all. I don't have time to touch up and blot during the day but it seemed to look okay by the end. The 24 hour claim may work for people who are not doing physical stuff all day long but for not for me after a few hours of working. It would be fine for general daily wear but something tougher is needed for what I get up to!

Love love love this foundation! I have to be honest I haven't tried many foundations in the past and I have been very cautious about picking one up too because I am highly prone to breakouts but I had my eye on this one for many years only because it had one specific to Oily/Combination skin. I was really tempted to try this on and went along to read a lot of good reviews. After using it myself I can say that I am absolutely in love with this product. Here are some things I like: 1. It gives moderate to high coverage 2. It comes with a pump! I love the fact that it has a pump. You can just get out exactly how much you want without having extra drip out and having to put it back (unhygienic) or throw it. 3. it's got so many shades to choose from. I know these days there are quite a few that provide shades for various skin tones but from drugstore brands I think this one has the most. 4. and lastly, no breakouts! For a person like me who could have a breakout within literally an hour, this product really does help. I did pick up the wrong colour my first time and have now switched to a more suitable colour but that said the product is the same. I have been using this foundation now for almost a year and I cannot recommend it enough.

Only foundation that doesn’t get stuck in my pours, like yunno when you get little dots where they are. Lasts forever on oily skin and can be worn thinner or layered thicker. Spreads nicely too! This is the ONLY foundation that lasts on my oily skin, while not sticking to my dry patches. I wore this at a festival in 35 degree heat and it stayed perfect all night! Ps this is the new formula.

I have oily skin and this foundation is fits incredible on my skin. I used this foundation for my wedding and the coverage was perfect, not too much. It gives your skin a natural appearance and doesn’t oxidise after a few hours. It is definitely worth the money for the quality and quantity.

Unfortunately I had big hopes for this. I got the colour buff and that really is the closest colour to my pale skin that most drugstore makeups match. I'm usually a 15-25w on mac but this was on the cooler side which is probably what made my skin look a little dull. I'd suggest only going for the buff shade if you have cooler tone skin. As for the actual product, it was very liquidy. It layed on very thick with light coverage and most definitely didn't stay 24 hours on my oily skin. It didn't stay 4 and I use a urban decay setting spray which is pretty much the best one to hold foundation. It was a let down but I obviously can't be too harsh for the price. I just expected more is all. Pros: Good price, good size, good colour range Cons: The bottle doesn't have a pump or any sort of smart lid, the consistency is watery and thick, it doesn't last that long

Jeder, der ölige Haut hat, kennt das Problem: die Foundation schwimmt schnell weg, die Poren kommen in vollem Glanz zum Vorschein oder die Farbe dunkelt durch das Öl sehr nach/wird fleckig. All das habe ich mit dieser Foundation nicht mehr! Für mich gehört sie zu meinen absoluten Favoriten. Zum Produkt selber: - Ich habe sehr, sehr helle Haut, teilweise mit Rötungen. Der Farbton ist für mich ein wenig zu dunkel, doch das nehme ich gerne in Kauf, weil mich das Produkt ansonsten völlig überzeugt hat. Außerdem bin ich es bei meinem Hautton gewohnt, dass die Farbe nicht passt und mische sie mir daher etwas an. - Leider besitzt das Produkt keinen Pumpspender, sondern muss so aus der Flasche entnommen werde. Nimmt man ein Makeup Schwämmchen zur Hilfe, ist aber auch das kein Problem. Der Verschluss wird auf lange Sicht gesehen etwas schmutzig. Bleibt man bei der Methode mit dem Makeup Schwämmchen, kommt man damit aber nicht in Kontakt. - Ganz wunderbar ist die Deckkraft, die auch wirklich lange anhält und nicht weiter nachdunkelt. Ich würde sie als mittel+ einschätzen. Trotzdem wirkt es nicht wie eine Maske. - Das Produkt ist sehr ergiebig und hat eine angenehm leichte Formel, die sich sehr gut auftragen lässt. Das Finish ist noch leicht glänzend, sodass ich eine dünne Schicht Puder auftrage, weil ich es matt lieber mag. Das ist aber kein Muss, das Finish schimmert wirklich nur noch leicht. Das Produkt hat zwar ein paar kleine "Fehler", die mich aber nicht weiter stören, da mir die gute Deckkraft, die Formel und die der lange Halt viel wichtiger sind. Wer sich mit Abstrichen im Bezug auf Anwendung (kein Pumpspender) leben kann und ein nicht völlig mattes Finish möchte, sollte sich dieses Produkt meiner Meinung nach kaufen. Für mich war es definitiv nicht die letzte Bestellung.

Have been searching for a make- up that fits my skin colour for ages! Unfortunately the German cosmetic market has not taken note that there are people of colour living too in this society! The famous drugstores do not have even one product on their shelves Quite a pity! Thanks to this product I'm feeling like a woman again;) Don't have to order from England and US with huge delivery costs and custom's trouble
