Do these work with the samsung galaxy s20 please? i want to buy as a gift so obviously want to get it right. tia

I bought them for my Samsung Galaxy S7 which is a single lens camera phone. I believe the S20 is a multi lens camera phone therefore I doubt the lens will neither fit nor work. To be honest I returned my lens and got a full refund as I was very disappointed with them.

Does this kit have a lens that can be used to take pictures with a narrower field of view, almost like the professional cameras do?

You mean 'shallower depth of field'? (Crisp subject with blurry background)? You won't get particularly shallow depth of field with any of these. That effect is cause by changing the appature settings on a camera to take advantage of the lowest 'f stop' available to a given lens. Most phone cameras don't have this level of control and these lens alone can't create that effect without it. BUT you could get a slightly more blurry background baby using the 'telephoto' lens in this kit as it magnifies the subject and as a result naturally compresses the background a little. It won't be ultra creamy extreme blur, but it would make a subtle difference.
