Love these J bars, I had a difficult time getting them on the roof rack. Not sure if roof racks have different heights, or if the type on my Rav is just lower to the roof. It was hard getting the bolts and black screw on knobs on, due to the height issue, finally got them all on. Very sturdy. They might have to stay on through the winter, I'm not going through all that again. Definitely a great product, glad I purchased these!

You get what you pay for. These got the job done and for the price they worked fine but I already want a nicer set. I have two pelican catch mode 110 kayaks and I have the amazon basics crossbars on my crosstrek. These held well enough, I just wish the the bars were a bit taller for my kayak. The bars rotated on the crossbars while I was trying push the boats up. I had to start over after I tightened the bars and sprayed a bit of water on them to help them slide up. The nylon was missing from one of my lock nuts so that was unfortunate. I don't understand how cheap a nut you have to be putting in your kits for that to happen. Lock nuts aren't expensive, trust me I know.

Works amazing. Easily installed hold my kayaks very sercure and makes it super easy to get them on and off. Couldn’t be happier.

Great budget kayak racks. Comes in a pair to carry 2 kayaks straps are decent.you can control the tighten the racks to your cross bars with the turn knob at the bottom. Seems stable enough at high speeds but I've only traveled a few miles from home with these.

This kayak mount is garbage. We accidentally bought 1 and needed 2 and the first one was no longer available so we had to get this one. In comparison to the first one this one is a joke. First of all, the undermount brace is much more narrow than the top brace so it’s not as secure as the first one we bought. Also, the bolts are so long it’s almost impossible to get your fingers underneath to spin the bolts on to secure it. Finally, the straps that came with are not long enough to make it around the kayak so we had to buy 2 new ones. The only reason we are not returning it is because it took hours to install and we were set on going kayaking that day and did not want to wait to disassemble it and return it. Do not buy this piece of crap. Look for one where the top and bottom braces are the same size and make sure the straps are more than 8 feet long.

I purchased this kayak rack to transport my kayak safely and to prevent inadvertent damage to my water toy! It is very durable and solid! It looks very sleek and easy to install and remove. The functionality is great also. It can also carry other large items kayak-shaped, but I mainly use it for my kayak. The instructions were a bit ambiguous , but I was able to interpret them pretty good. Overall a great product and great bang for the buck!

I originally gave this a one star review and said it was unusable with the nuts and bolts that came with it, but this isn't accurate, the issue was poor instructions and user error. I came back and changed by review because it does work, but it's not great. There are no instructions, just a one picture diagram that caused my initial issue with the product. The J-tube supports are much smaller/shorter than I have seen on anything else before. I had purchased better separate straps and am going to have to go buy longer ones. The bolts are longer than they need to be, too long for a standard ratchet socket, so I had to tighten them 90% with the ratchet then finish with a crescent wrench. That said I just had it out for a 60 mile round trip where I was driving 55 MPH most of the time and everything worked and was secure, and it is cheaper than most of what I am seeing out there, so if you are looking for a budget option that works and are willing to put up with the issues this is the product for you.

Strong easy to install on roof rack. I’ve used the kayak roof rack all summer long and am pleased with the performance. I slide and drag my 18’ kayak off and on the racks and they remain secure. Recommend the product based on it’s stability and excellent value.

Todo bien Solo que tuve que hacer una adaptación ya que los soportes no se adaptan todo tipo de tubos y le tube que hacer 2 perforaciones y atortillarlos

No lo he montado pero son de gran ayuda para transportar tu kayak
