A male to A male cable are not the easiest things to find so I was pleased to find this one so easily on the Amazon site. We are investigating a problem we have with some A to A cables we had made for a product at work and needed to check some other kinds. This one worked straight off as a USB 3 cable plugged in toe the input of our hub in the new product. An A type input for a hub is unusual b ut the one we need to use has one and our cable was not making a contact with the USB 3 pins in it. This cable worked straight off as a USB 3.0 cable on all the systems we tried in on. It is superbly made with its gold plated screen connectors even the screen resistance could not be measured on a normal meter it was so low.
