ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4090 OC Edition Gaming Graphics Card (PCIe 4.0, 24GB GDDR6X, HDMI 2.1a, DisplayPort 1.4a)

Intimidating piece of kit needing a bit of thought regarding power supply, cabling and sheer size. First, it’s big you will need a full size case and plenty of room around the pcie slot you’re planning on using. It uses the new power input plug. Fortunately an adapter is supplied but you will need 4 feeds from the power supply. This needs care as there are reports of 4090s being damaged if there are issues with correct plugs and cable routing. I would budget for a beefy power supply, 1500W at a minimum. As for performance, well it’s a 4090RTX. I can run DCS and MSFS at max resolution with all the enhancements and it glides along perfectly. Can’t give an actual fps as my monitor is 4K at 60mhz so I fixed the frame rate at just under 60fps. However there is no stuttering or screen tearing just gorgeousness. If you’re into programming then this card gives you access to the latest CUDA tools in C/C++ and via the free tools from NVidia, Fortran.

To my delight my biggest upgrade from many previous cards Ive owned arrived next day. My eyes lit up like a beacon of light - amazed by the shear size- yeah "thats what she said?😍" I could barely fit it inside my case. It was snug though - a perfect fit in the end. Perfomance wise - this was a "Ferrari" compared to my "Escort". Racy, upbelievable ,almost life-like graphics and looks stunning with the lighting effect,but also very quiet. I needed this to get the best from my Pico VR headset. It "blew me away" on Project Cars 2 - next will be Flight Simulator-cant wait. This is truly the best Graphics card you can buy to date. If you have the money(its pricey)-just buy one!

Let's face it if you're looking at this product and the reviews, you know that this is something you want. I spent a long time looking but was satisfied after just committing and buying. The card is quiet for its size and power. The card offers so much that you will barely scratch the surface.

Returned it because of horrible coil whine, and I was informed I need to wait for 2 months to get my refund. Totally insane.

The GPU is so good and much better than 3090. The speed to run ML is also amazing.

I don't often write bad reviews if any but when it comes to this graphics card I need to. Now the card is beautiful the design of it and the rgb effects are lovely but when I installed it and put it under any sort of load there was a horrible buzzing sound that I could hear through my case and while wearing headphones, for a card that is priced this high that shouldn't be happening. The card performs as a 4090 should but the noise is why I decided to return the card and im looking into other replacements.

The strix 4090 is the ultimate gpu for gaming and work productivity. With a 1000w bios and voltage lock i have seen on the air cooler 844 watts power draw. Keen to slap a waterblock on it and see how I can really push it. Card runs so quiet and performs perfectly

bon on n'y va pas par 4 chemins : c'est beaucoup trop cher pour ce que c'est ! maintenant je sors d'une XFX 6900XT Merc Black qui chauffe beaucoup et fait beaucoup de bruit et consomme aussi pas mal ( genre 320 à 340 W pleine balle) et qui est Noire, donc pas top dans une config blanche. Après avoir hésité avec une Gigabyte AERO (tjrs en 4090), j'ai pris l'asus au vu des différents tests. Que dire de plus : ne chauffe pas ne fais pas de bruit s'overclock facilement bon après j'ai fais comme tout le monde, direction MSI Afterburner et hop undervolting et overclock ! et là on a une conso plus raisonnable ( pas pire qu'avec mon ancienne XFX 6900XT) je joue en 4K (tout passe en full qualité) et j'ai fait de l'éditing video (Davinci Resolve), et photo (LRC, PS et Capture one)

The card itself is a work of art. The heatsink is very efficient and looks awesome. The performance is absolutely amazing. Just make sure you set your powerlimit at 60% or so when gaming below 4K. It's saves a lot on the power bill without suffering performance loss. No coil whine whatsoever on this card.

Une 4090 custom très efficace de chez Asus. En fonction depuis 2 ans dans mon pc, elle ne chauffe pas beaucoup, les 3 ventilateurs sont très efficaces. Possibilité de fonctionnement en fanless en mode desktop. Parfaite pour mon usage
