I had been having electrical problems with my car, all sorts of codes and dash lights poping up, sensors failnig and the like, I had chacked my battery with a digital multi meter and it showed as ok, so I couldn't understand what was going on, A lot of forums talked about how modern cars are very dependant on thebattery as a major part of the electrical and electronic system and how even a few volts of a drop can cause all kinds of problems, So I bit the bullet and bought this. Plugged it in let it do it's thing and it came back to tell me my battery was a dud. Bought a new battery and hey presto all my codes lights and issues were gone. Very easy to use and 100% reliable

This allowed me to troubleshoot a non cranking generator in my RV. Turns out the Rv/Marine 24DC battery purchase Nov 2025 from Costco was only putting out 150 CCA at the studs ... which was how I had all the myriad of connections to my RV house battery. This tester then confirmed the same battery was putting out 580 CCA at the posts when out of the vehicle! So I purchased some awesome post accessory connectors (see pic; item also from amazon). Battery measures at 555 CCA with connection above and now the generator cranks/starts and I save myself the painful process of a battery return to Costco! This product is easy to use. Screen is easy to see. The connectors bite/connect excellently. I was also able to easily test the cranking and charging system of my chassis battery -- which is in an old 1996 30' class A on a Ford e350 chassis -- gave me piece of mind for the entire starting/charging system. BL: If you have multiple cars/batteries, this is a fantastic tool to use when troubleshooting vehicle starting/cranking issues as it will quickly allow you to confirm or eliminate the battery as your problem without having to remove it from your vehicle. But, it works just as well if the battery is removed from your vehicle i.e I intend to take it with me whenever I purchase a new battery to make sure the health of the new battery is as it should be.
