What is the wax derived from? Is it vegetarian?

I'm not sure. But if they are used to specifically make Beef Burgers. I'm not sure its relevant.

Can I use them to wrap fish and chips for a party?

I guess so? They are just brown paper pockets essentially. Probably too big for child portion but big enough to hold a sandwich. I’d tear up newspaper and make little individual fish and chip cones. Will look more fun?

Can these paper disc be used for baking and steaming as I need them for bao (Asian buns)?

Not sure I have only used them for keeping my home made burgers separated.

Could I use these as sealing wax discs for chutney

With the correct size of jar, I am reasonable sure they should make a seal.
