I did a bit of research before opting for these cupboard locks and with good reviews, thought I would give them a go.I’ll get it out of the way early, I would definitely recommend these to anyone with an inquisitive child or one that’s starting to crawl etc.They are really easy to install, make sure you read the instructions first but essentially, they come with a cradle in which you place the lock part of the system. You then line that up with the edge of the cupboard and with an adhesive strip, temporarily attach it to the inside of the cupboard. You then peel the back off the sticky pad on the lock mechanism and just close the door, with the sticky pad sticking to the inside edge of the cupboard door. The adhesion is really good but I made sure to apply a little extra pressure to aid the adhesion.You then use a pencil to make a small mark on the edge of the cupboard which lines up with the cradle part, which acts as a guide for the second part of the mechanism. You then remove the cradle and attach the second part of the lock mechanism to the cupboard with another super sticky pad, lining it up with the pencil mark. The mechanism is now fitted and ideally should be left for 24 hours prior to using it to ensure firm adhesion. There are small round stickers which are clear but have a padlock symbol which you then stick on the outside of the cupboard to identify the location of the lock and aid opening.The system is supplied with two magnets which can be wall mounted with a small bracket which utilises the same sticky type pad and to open the door, simply place the magnet against the padlock sticker and the door can be opened. If you’ve ever tried to put two magnets together with the same poles facing each other, you’ll know how these work!Of note, there is a manual override option (if the little one is out of the way etc) where when the door is open, you simply click the lock mechanism to lock it open and the mechanism will then not engage - you just have to remember to re-engage it! This is particularly useful if you’re cooking or putting the shopping away to save you constantly using the magnet!The one issue I have with these locks is not a design issue but more of a general issue with this type of lock that you need to keep getting the magnet to open the doors, which after a while becomes a bit of a faff! And if your family are anything like mine, the magnet is never put back in the holder so you have to go on a small mission to find the magnet before you can get to the contents of the cupboard!That being said, I have bought two sets of these locks and overall, think they are great. This product is easy to install once you get the hang of it! A word of warning is that the adhesive is so strong that if you make a mistake, it's hard to rectify. But once installed, it becomes second nature to use the magnet. I find the magnet mechanism better than the push locks, my little cousin figured out the push locks pretty quickly whereas my little one stands no chance of getting into the cupboards now. We love that the lock can be disabled, this means that when my little boy goes to my Mum's she can enable the lock but disable them when my little one isn't there (otherwise my Dad can't figure out why the cupboard isn't opening lol - maybe a good way of keeping him from getting the chocs!). Love that the pack comes with two magnets, my husband threw the magnet key away once and then closed the cupboard door before realising what he'd done. Thankfully, we keep the other magnet in the utility so he could use that key to retrieve the kitchen key! A slight downside is that we can't fit them to some of our shallow drawers but we could fit them to the corner cupboards by attached the lock mechanism to the underside of the countertop. I think it's good value for money having 10 locks supplied in the pack. Overall, I'd recommend these and I'm glad we chose them!!

These were great and we reallykked them. They looked nicer than traditional child locks and were very safe. No child was cracking this code.They were just a bit fiddly to attach and the adhesion was hit or miss. I'd still recommend them.

These are great where you can turn the locks on and off. As grandparents we only have the grandson a couple of days a week so we can switch the locks on when he is here and off when he goes home.The only thing I would say is that when fitting make sure you take in to account ensuring that the cabinet carcus top and sides are level with each other, we found the top of ours was a couple of mm recessed from the sides, also che k if your cabinet doors have any little cushioning pads on them and take that into account when fitting.So we don't lose the magnetic openers I just put it on the outside of the cooker hood with it being metal.Other than they are ideal.

Doesn't work at all.I've bought these before from a different vendor and they worked great. Removed them when my toddler grew and now bought these to replace for my youngest. The quality is completely inferior, the hook just pushes the latch down into the unlock position when you try to close the door and lock. I've tried just about every single one in the box and it is the same with them all so t wasn't just a dud.

There are several good aspects to these locks so lets start with these:1. The company make a significant effort to achieve customer satisfaction. They sent a very helpful video showing how to install soon after placing my order. Also they offer opportunity to liaise with them directly in case there are any issues with the product. Reaching out to resolve any problems should they arise.2. When correctly installed in a suitable cupboard or drawer they work brilliantly with the added benefit of not having damaged your cupboards with screws.3. The adhesive is very strong and sticks instantly.4. The installation is very simple (in theory).5. Helpful information on company website.However there are also a few not so good points or points which should be carefully considered before buying.1. Not enough spare tape included in case adjustment or reapplication is required.2. Because the adhesive is so strong there is no room for error or adjustment. This means you have to be very careful when installing the locks as a slight misalignment will lead to dysfunction.3. If the lock dysfunctions and the cupboard or drawer is closed it is very difficult to "break into" your cupboard.4. The instructions do not include guidance as to how to deal with issues if things go wrong such as a cupboard that won't open. There is however very useful information on the company website in their Q&A section. This however should really be included in the instructions e.g. how to remove the locks, how to "break in" (the solution is to apply heat and force)5. If you need to take the lock off and reposition the tape will no longer stick sufficiently or may have become squished up, therefore extra spare tape is required.6. The adhesive on the installation positioning device wears off/weakens too quickly. It is unlikely you would be able to install all 10 locks without having to replace the tape but only one spare in the box. Also if the adhesive has become too weak and you are not aware this can lead to installation inaccuracy and then to a "permanently locked" cupboard. Naturally the adhesive has to be weak to allow the repeated removal on installation but more spare tape should be included to avoid dysfunction.7. If your cupboard doors or drawers are a little older and allow for a slight "wiggle" rather than being rigidly fixed on their hinges/ runners this will likely lead to dysfunction of the locks whereby it becomes very hit and miss if they will open.8. Most importantly check the style of your cupboards and drawers. If you have "in frame" cupboards (no nearby flat surface at a 90 degree angle which comes flush to the door) you will not be able to install the locks. This was unfortunately the case in almost all the furniture I intended to use the locks. Also if the only flush surface to stick the lock on is on the bottom of the cupboard the locks may not work as the magnet won't achieve sufficient lift to lift the hook off the plate.9. If your cupboard has a magnetic locking mechanism holding the door shut do not install the lock anywhere near this as the magnet will interfere with the lock and may hold it permanently shut.Although the list of negatives is longer than the positives I want to emphasize that the product seems to work excellently when you have the right cupboard style and you install carefully, so check your cupboards and if suitable don't hesitate to buy. Also the level of positive customer care is highly commendable.

Excellent. I haven’t written a review in years, but I really think this product is great and as new parents, it totally put our minds to rest. This cupboard can only open by us! We’ve seen lots of products on social media which show kids breaking into cupboards with alternative locks (some a rather amusing videos) but I honestly don’t think it possible. The magnets system is water tight. Install is easy. Thank you

Use screws to mount the mechanism. The adhesive isn't enough to keep out a determined child. The magnet was easy to conceal on the underside of the upper cabinets where the lip keeps it hidden.

Kaufgrund:Die Sicherheitsschlösser sollten unser Kind insbesondere vor dem Schrank mit den Reinigungsmitteln, aber auch vor der Medikamentenschublade mit der Reiseapotheke schützen. Weil wir keine abschließbaren neuen Schränke kaufen wollten, haben wir uns für dieses Produkt entschieden.Lieferumfang:Das Paket enthielt, wie beschrieben, die 10 magnetischen Schlösser, 2 Magnetschlüssel, den Montageadapter, optional zu nutzende Schrauben, falls einem Kleben zu unsicher ist und ein wenig Ersatzklebeband. Alle Teile befanden sich in einem einwandfreien Zustand.Inbetriebnahme:Die Anleitung war nicht ganz so einfach wie beschrieben, aber dennoch gut verständlich. Zu Not kann man sich auch ein Tutorial im Internet anschauen. Dann klappt es ganz gut. Das Anbringen ist dann nämlich wirklich kinderleicht und dauert keine 3 Minuten. Mit dem Adapter passt alles haargenau. Dazu muss man nur den Adapter an die richtige Stelle positionieren und die Klebestreifen von den Schlösser-Teilen abziehen und festdrücken. Mit dem Magneten können die Schlösser dann von außen geöffnet werden.Funktionalität & Qualität:An Qualität und Funktionsweise ist nichts auszusetzen, alles funktioniert einwandfrei. Sobald man den Magneten von außen an das Schloss hält, öffnet dies und man kann die Schublade oder de Schrank aufmachen. Man kann die Teile auch beidseitig sichern, dann muss man entweder 2 Schlüssel gleichzeitig zum Öffnen nutzen, wobei man dann keine Hand mehr frei hat oder man löst erst einseitig ein Schluss, zieht dann die Schublade etwas auf, so dass das Schloss nicht zurückrasten kann und öffnet dann die andere Seite. Klappt bei uns ganz gut.Fazit:Die Schlösser erfüllen exakt unsere Erwartung und sind kinderleicht anzubringen. Wir haben keine Mängel festgestellt und können diese Magnetschlösser daher uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Man muss nur beachten, ob der Schrank nicht zu dick für den Magneten ist, dies kann man aber vorher nachmessen. Von daher 5 volle Sterne für diese magnetischen Sicherheitsschlösser.
