Yes, this kiln runs in standard household current with a 3-prong plug. This is the largest kiln available for using 120v

what is the highest cone level?

The top temperature for this kiln is 1700 degrees F. In a conversion chart I found on Clay-King.com that would be 08 or 09. Bisque is usually 06 and even Low fire glaze is 06 or 07. I only use mine for glass, decals, and metalic clay to make jewelry.

Could it be used to slump wine bottles ?

Yes, it can be used to slump wine bottles. I use bottle slumping molds so the size of the kiln only allows me to do one at a time. The firing schedule can be programmed for bottle slumping.

Does this model have a peep hole?

Yes it does, it is on the side of the kiln.

Kiln does the work
