GOOD WEE NAGURA STONE THAT SHOULD LAST YOU A LIFETIME
This is a decent wee Nagura stone and one of several I own. It works perfectly well with all my whetstones and easily forms a creamy slurry. Although not just as good as Japanese made stones (which I suppose is a very subjective statement to make), it is, however, only a quarter of the price. And this stone should last you lifetime so it offers good value for money. For those that may not know what this Nagura stone is for, it is for creating a slurry to help polish the blade edge in the final stages of sharpening. Just pop in in a container of water for 15 minutes and allow it to soak then simply rub it on the whetstone to create a creamy slurry and use that slurry to fine tune and polish the blade edge. Oh, and try not to drop it, especially when it is dry as it is brittle and will easily chip, crack or break. It is normally used with the higher grade stones (6000 grit and above) once the blade edge has been established by honing on several lower grit stones. Hard to fault this wee stone as it does what it is intended to so on that basis I am happy to recommend. And if this short review was helpful then please tick the YES box below, Thanks.

Best around
Superb Nagura stone, replaced a worn one I had. Makes a great slurry for honing.

Quality
Product is over priced for a sample piece of man made stone ๐ชจ and normally would come in a selection pack of grade's of small stones from 200 to 5000 grit type. Price ยฃ 8.00 pound or so. This is nothing for a manufacturer to make.
