Where can I buy the replacement siliphos for this filter system?

I don't see any replacement filters for this item. How can I purchase one?

Yes and no. There are 2 versions of this product on Amazon. One includes Siliphos granules. Siliphos is a descaling agent.

Can this be used as a post filter for an inline water heater?

Hi, Yes you can use the spin down filter as a post filter after an inline water heater but the spin down filter may be best used before the water heater to protect the water heater from sediment buildup. Thank you, iSpring Water Systems LLC

Does it matter what direction this is hooked up?

Yes! If you look on the side of the filter housing at the top you will see an arrow pointing the direction of flow.
