This was not my first soft release that one cost over four times the price of this jjc size is just right for my xe2s it allows me to use my finger pad instead of just the tip, when unpacking do look out for a bag with two rubber rings in it as mine was tucked in the folds of the instructions and could be easerly lost, when fitting use one rubber ring on the threaded button and screw onto camera untill rubber is slightly deformed then enjoy the feel of the well made brass button. It really helps with camera shake, and looks good to boot, I just need to get another for my t2 now. Review for fuji x-t2 as in my last review this button is well made but seems even better on the T2 as the shutter button is about the same hight as the exposure compensation dial add that to using the booster grip I have to use the tip of my finger to fire the camera but with this JJC SRB series button raises about 2mm, that and it being convex design makes the camera very comfortable to use.

This comes with rubber washer which is very important if you are using this with the various Fuji cameras with threaded shutter. Otherwise, it is very easy for these kinds of soft release buttons to fall off. It won't prevent it completely but it helps a tremendous amount. The golden button is a bit less shiny in real life (compared to the picture) but it looks perfect on black retro-style cameras such as the Fujifilm X-Pro 2 and X-T2. I personally thinks it doesn't look that good on a silver camera. This is a 80% cosmetic item for me. It does make the shutter button higher and easier to press but it's not like the camera is unusable without it.

I have used JJC products many times in the past but this is a very poor standard. I bought it to go on the shutter button of my Fuji XT4 camera, however, the male thread on this button is a lot smaller diameter than the internal thread of my shutter release button. As a result you only get less than a quarter turn to lock it in place even with the rubber O ring fitted. I will NOT be trusting this on my beloved XT4. Not recommended. Returned.

...ist der Button allemal, aber was nützt er mir, wenn er in der zweiten Fotosession abfällt? Trotz mehrmaligen Festziehens ist der Button dann doch auf dem Deich geblieben, da gefielt es ihm wohl besser als auf der Kamera. Ich rate dringend vom Kauf ab!

Habe mir den Button für meine Fuji Kamera gekauft. Er wertet die Kamera optisch auf und der Auslöser lässt sich feinfühliger betätigen. Ich hab den Button ohne den beigelegten O-Ring montiert, ich bin der Meinung er sitzt dann besser. Er hat sich bislang (5 Monate in Gebrauch) nicht gelockert.

Der Auslöseknopf ist dauerhaft an meiner Fuji X100 befestigt. Nachdem ich eine Phase hatte, in der ich die Kamera mit allerlei Zubehör wie Handgriff und Daumenstütze "verschönert" hatte, habe ich die Kamera in den schlichten Ausgangszustand zurückversetzt. Einzig dieser Knopf durfte bleiben, da er eine praktische Funktion erfüllt. Man fühlt deutlicher den Druckpunkt des Auslösers und kann erschütterungsfreier/bequemer auslösen. Die Farbe sieht an der X100 sehr gut aus, die Verarbeitungsqualität ist ausgezeichnet. Mitgedacht hat der Hersteller, indem ein kleiner O-Ring aus Gummi zwischen Ring und Auslöseknopf verhindert, dass sich im Gebrauch das Gewinde löst. Insgesamt ein sehr gut gemachtes Produkt.
